I’ve been on thyroxine for 50 years and for last 30 years reasonable stable on 1.25 a day. I do have a medichecks test every year. I don’t have high antibodies . Do I need to always take my thyroxine tablet with a full glass of water for it to absorbed correctly? Thank you to any advice that anyone may have.

Hi everyone ❤️ Quick question, I started on T4 vencamil 12 mg on Monday afternoon (8th April) took Tuesday, Wednesday, dose 12mg then found out gp botched the thyroid bloods 😡 I posted the whole saga, so not going to get into that. So how long will these 3 days of T4 12mg take to leave my system?

My last test my tsh was 0.08, but t4 was only 12.4 in a range of 10-18. I would expect my t4 to be higher! T3 wasn't even tested. My b12, vit D and folate are mid range.My Dr wants to reduce my thyroxine from 150/125 alternate days to 125.

Recently my surgery's pharmacy cannot provide Mercury brand thyroxine and they are changing it to Teva which I had bad pains from it in the past! I would like to get another brand and have no idea where? It's stressing me out at the moment any help will be much appreciated. Thank you

I have no thyroid so am taking thyroxine & Calcuim along with ,this after an episode a AF ,I was put on Propranolol 40x2 ,Flecainide 5x2 , Apixaban 5x2, and also Rosuvasratin. Looking for some advice please on these test results. TSH - 7.6 (range 0.35-5.00) and Free T4 - 9.4 (range 9.0-21.0). GP has stated to wait another 3 months and re-test to confirm or exclude hypo diagnosis.

I was planning on going out at 13.30pm but my wife informed me of another appointment, so it was off in the rain for my first Stepping Stone run, the run was quite easy until the last 5 minuets when I had to pick up the pace, perspiration was worst that the rain, but I did it without having to stop.

A blood test results are a high TSH of 6.5 /T4 13.8 /TPO 257. I appreciate that we do not always go by the TSH result My question is, does levothyroxine work? Or should you be taking T3 ? Thank you

My recent result on 13/11/2023 shows TSH 5.50 and T4 -3, and my recent test on 20/12/2023 shows TSH-27.60 & T4 -2. My current doze is on 10mg carbimazole. Please any advice on this to me would be much appreciated Thanks
