My TSH level is under the range.
I value this knowledgeable forum very much, thank you for all your help. I had my blood tested last week. The draw was at 9.30am and my last Levo medication was taken the previous morning at 8am. I am currently on 125 mg Levothyroxine which I take on waking up and only drink water for the first 2

Update to last post.
As suggested I wrote a request, via Patches, asking for a Gp to refer me to a private endo. I got an appointment for Today to speak to a clincian, who turned out to be a paramedic. He informed me that 'They' do not write referrals to private endos. I would need to approach one myself and if He/She wanted

Ferritin results
Hi, I had my blood test results back today and my serum ferritin is 30ug/L. No TSAT. Results tho. I've been prescribed ferrous sulphate 200mg. Not sure what 30ug/L means though can anyone enlighten me?

Yearly endo nonsense
I've given up ranting, this just seems to be yearly confirmation of what we are up against (sadly most don't get as far as Endochrinoloy. My GP surgery recently asked me to confirm my Levo dose? They prescribe it each month so is it compliance? I replied 150mcg Levothyroxine and 10mcg Liothyronine (I've

Strange Results
Hi, I was diagnosed with PA in 2013/14 and was given injections for a while but that stopped a good few years ago. I had tests done via Endo a while back and they said my levels were fine despite no injections/supplements. I had tests done in May 2023 and the active b12 came back as high. It showed

Help Interpreting Results
Hi. Can I have advice on results? These are from a while back for anyone who has read my recent posts. I was on 1 tablet of T3 a day at this point. I previously had high thyroid antibodies but the LDN I take seems to have lowered them to be in range. I was wondering if the same has happened with pernicious

TSH and T4 raising on medications
Hi Initially, my TSH level was 8 mIU/L (normal range 0.4 to 4.0 mIU/L), with T3 and T4 within normal ranges. Upon starting a 0.25 euthyrox (T4) dosage, my TSH surged to 18, coinciding with the onset of mild discomfort in my rectal area, which I suspect may be hemorrhoids. Despite a dosage increase to

Starting T3
Hi I had appointment with private GP and the plan is for me to start T3. I am currently taking 75/100 mg Levothyroxine alternate days. My latest results were TSH 1.28, T3 4, T4 20.4 I’m told my conversion rate is poor at 5.1. It’s suggested that I take 2.5 mcg 3 times a day to begin. If I feel ok after
