Itchy skin
Hi first post to this site though I've read others and it doesn't appear that any post is seen as trivial. I was diagnose with nhl about 13 years ago which was later classified as cll. After initial chlorambucil treatment I was on w and w until last year when my white cell and neutrophils count were

Septrin 80mg/400mg
Dear all. I've been on Septrin since June as CD4 is low which I completely understand. Does anyone know if Septrin cause change of Skin colour (make the skin darker). I was told that some antibiotics may cause skin issues but having read the leaflets there is mentioning abiut skin related issues.

Hi, I am new to this site and thyroid issues so I'd be grateful for some advice as I have my first endo appointment this week.
I was diagonised with stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma in oct 2012, 7 different types of chemo and 2 stem cell transplants later I'm still here and hodgkins free for 11 months. Due to treatments I have a non functioning spleen so I was on 961mg septrin, 500mg of amoxicillin & Aciclovir every day. Many meds

FCR Round 2 Uncontrolled Sickness
As I reported in recent post about my bloods for the start of round 2, I got into problems with the anti-sickness medication for round 2, and despite trying to analyse what I did wrong in round 1 actually managed to make things worse and ended up in my local hospital to get sorted out. I've been back

The one minute cure. the secret to healing virtually all diseases by Madison Cavanaugh. I have refused any prescribed medication over many
years, after lots of prescriptions for non steroid anti inflamitory tablets and 3 cortisone injections every 12 weeks ruined my health. Until i was guided to the book, The One Minute cure, this is the Must book to read. Personally in the last few weeks, following the information in this book i have regained

How long did you take septrin after stopping cyclophosmide?
My Mum is recovering from pcp pneumonia, she stopped taking cyclophosmide about six weeks ago and tapered pred down to 7.5mg. The pneumonia seems to have cleared up although she still coughs, so her Dr is now suggesting she stops taking septrin. This concerns me as its unknown territory for me. How

Prednisolone tapering causing rash?
Mums tapering off pred, 5mg a week from 30mg and now on 10mg for the last two days. She has a rash now on her belly, back and under arm area. Is this caused by the pred tapering? Anybody else had this? She went onto septrin profolaxis over a week ago as well.

PCP Pneumonia prophylaxis choice.
After a terrible infection of pcp pneumonia Mums consultant has decided to take her off iv antibiotics, they have to remove her line and don't want to try canulating her again, so an oral antibiotic is required. She had haemolytic reactions to iv septrin (co-trimoxozle) which caused lots of problems

Would this suggest Lupus to you?
My daughter has been unwell for nigh on 2 years with fatigue, rashes, joint pain, sore throat, depression and as I have Lupus I am becoming more of the opinion that so has she. She was at the Doc (again) this week with a sore throat (again) and he diagnosed tonsilitis (again). He gave her Doxicycline

Could anyone help with my puzzle please? I've been on Septrin Forte 960mg 3 per week, since January 2007 when WG was diagnosed.
The last meeting I had with my Rheum. Consultant suggested I'd be on it for life. My Nephrologist, 2 weeks later suggested it be stopped as he thought it was causing my extreme fatigue but said He'd discuss with my Rheumatologist! He also told me that my red blood cells were very large and he reckoned
