Does anyone use ‘Active Iron’ in UK?
I searched for ferrous bisglycinate on Amazon UK which came up with Active Iron 25mg. I’ve now received it and found it contains ferrous sulfate 25mg! Now I don’t know if this is the right product or dose. Can anyone help?

Iron supplements dosage
Is 20mg of gentle iron each night enough? It worked well the first night. What a wonderful relief it was. The second night it did work within 70 mins but returned within 3 hours.. I wonder why it didn't last as long? Would a slow release be better, like ferrous sulphate 325mg? Or will it need to be

Ferrous Sulphate 325mg modified release
Hi, is there anyone else in the UK using modified (sustained/slow) release ferrous sulphate 325mg or have you been able to obtain the normal, immediate release ferrous sulphate in this dose? My GP is telling me it is only available as modified release (or this may be the only one on their prescribing

Buprenorphine
I am currently taking 300 mg Pregabalin around 7pm and 2x 30 g of codeine (sometimes 3x 30g) during the night. I am also taking ferrous sulphate at 10pm each night. This isn’t working. I take the first codeine half an hour before bedtime and maybe sleep for 1 to 2hours. I then have to walk around/have

Iron tablets and T3 timing?
I'm trying to raise my low ferritin (33 at last test) and am taking ferrous sulphate twice a day (will be testing my levels again soon).I was previously taking my T3 meds once a day but am having a bit of trouble tolerating a recent 5mcg increase (was taking 10, now 15mcg) so I'd like to try splitting

Post exertion fatigue
I'm like a zombie today - over the past 2 days, I did quite a bit of heavy gardening as the weather was so good. I had muscle aches and felt a bit wiped out at the end of the day yesterday so took a long Epsom salts bath, and today, wham! it's like a truck has hit me, but with extra brain fog added.

Confusion
At the moment I am taking Pregabalin, magnesium and ferrous sulphate. I know that some time needs to be left between these things but am confused as to how long. I take the Pregabalin around 8 o/clock. Should I be taking the ferrous sulphate in the morning as I think that's what the doctor said

New thyroid and iron panel results - trying to conceive
Hi everyone, Further to my previous posts, I have now received the results from my recent blood tests ordered by an endocrinologist. There are others which I don't understand but here are the ones I have some understanding of, and have been monitoring since receiving diagnosis of Hashis and while I'm

Epsom Salt and essential oils foot soak query
just a quick enquiry. I bought these lovely Epsom salts to give myself a relaxing foot soak but then read the list of essential oils and thought they might not be so good after all. 🤦♀️ I take flecainide, bisoprolol, warfarin and levothyroxine. Do foot soaks mean you absorb a lot of the essential

First blood test in over a year and not feeling good
Hello,I haven't actually posted to the forum in a long time - and I am rather ashamed to say I also haven't had a blood test in a long time, either. My GP surgery haven't called me in for one in well over a year so I am afraid I have been rather 'burying my head in the sand' about it all. However,

Starting Gabapentin
Thanks to great advice on here last year, I took a course of ferrous sulfate and my ferritin levels went from 52 to 105. Unfortunately this didn’t help my RLS and my GP doesn’t do a full iron panel and so couldn’t get the other relevant results. I have now opted for Gabapentin but my GP had advised

Intestinal upset (diarrhea, tiredness, slight nausea) from ferrous sulfate?
I suffer from PLM and had low ferritin. I've taken oral iron for some years to keep my ferritin above 100. I've read that one of the adverse effects of iron sulfate can be stomach/intestinal upset. I'm experiencing my 4th episode of intestinal upset in a month. At first I thought it might be food poisoning

Rocky start onto Cape- hoping to leave as planned for NZ in just 3 weeks-Need Help
Last week started on cape after dec 19th abdominal Ct scan for surgery the next day turned up cancer spread to liver and throughout. Lobular was so sneaky that the regular PET scan just weeks before was reported out stable. So for Xmas, I quickly switched from Verzenio to Cape. They mailed it to me
