Considering knee replacement surgery but ....
My main concern about knee surgery revolves around during and after-surgery medication, infections,
steroids
and any decrease in kidney function. With my creatine increasing from 1.8 to 2.0 over 7 year, my Nephrologist has told me I should not need dialysis in my lifetime.

My question is, as I’m taking the Lanzoprazole , do I need food before taking the

? Thanks in advance.

Started feeling some stiffness and then I had a total return of symptoms last night and this morning--as bad or worse than before starting
steroids
. I took 12.5 mg this morning and plan to take another 7.5 early this evening to see if I can recover.

Bursitis and Tendonitis in hips, knees, shoulders and ankles
He is referring me for an ultrasound to check it's bursitis/ tendonitis and they will inject
steroids
into it (shoulders first) if it is. Has anyone else had this combination of under active thyroid and it affecting the joints? The Rhuemey said I'd have to wait months probably for this procedure.

Bronchocentric Glanulomatosis?
She was eventually put on these
steroids
, which has cleared up the cough but she has lost the will to live. I'm at a loss as to how to help her. Has anyone else on this site heard of bronchocentric glanulomatosis or been misdiagnosed.

Sore perineum and vulvar
I have a pudendal nerve entrapment diagnosis of 8 years now but recently the pain from the anal area has now moved to my vaginal area causing really bad pain in vagina, vulva and perineum. I was given hormone cream to insert by gp as she thought it was menopausal symptoms. This didn't work. I revisited

Antineutrophilic cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) Vasculitis
Treatment for vasculitis includes using
steroids
along with other medication the suppress the immune system, such as cyclophosphamide or rituximab. I am not coughing up blood like one of the symptoms. But I cough a lot, very thick clear mucus.
