Prednisolone and urge to pee
Edited to add
, after contacting the consultant's secretary I have a new appointment in 12 days so will just continue with the
steroids
as I'll be on 10 mg then . Peeing is much better since cutting out carbs too. ***** I'm back with another question.

Sudden sensorineural hearing loss & congenital hypothyroidism
NHS ENT doctors should have given me
steroids
immediately. Instead they treated it as a simple ear infection and failed to provide follow up appointments.

Reaction to 4th covid vaccine (Moderna)
I take hydroxychloroquine and have prednisolone to hand for use during a flare, but have decided not take the
steroids
in case it interferes with what the Moderna vac.is trying to do. I don't know if this is co-incidental as I felt extremely tired on Saturday and Sunday anyway.

New flat
He is on a drip and
steroids
. I dont think they are putting him on anymore treatment. I am very worried because if he doesn't get on treatment he will die. No one is telling us anything and the communication is via hull consultant to Scunthorpe.

guidance please
The fatigue is awful , would push myself to complete my jobs then just stop as I couldn’t move about any more , Then in August managed to get a telephone consultation told the doctor how I had enough and wanted help , that’s when she said would I try taking
steroids
and if she was right I would get relief

Weak wobbly legs update number 2
I’m sure quite a number here have been on
steroids
for a while so I think this will be an interesting one to see how it turns out.

CRP and ESR blood tests
I am having blood tests for CRP and ESR and forgot to ask the doctor whether I should stop taking the
steroids
the day before. I am currently on 6 mgs and it's the first blood test I have had for a year. With thanks. Sail 26

New diagnosis osteoporosis
I thought my diet was quite good but she said its likely the long term RA, menopause,
steroids
over the years, which I don't take now, and mobility. I really want to help myself, diet and exercise so will try and find someone local to guide me in the best exercises, weight bearing, etc.

PMR returns, probably never away
So, I was still on
steroids
, around 7mg, and was told to reduce gradually to zero, as I didn’t have PMR. Reduced to 5/4, all good, then at 3.5, I had shoulder, and left sided neck pain, I’m back up to 6mg. I still have pain when I wake, but about an hour after I take my pred, it’s gone.

should TCZ be tapered at end of supply?
No help from rheumy - he “ expected me to be off the
steroids
by now” and when asked about TCZ said “we’ll see what happens “ .. and was sniffy about my GP’s letting me have the Pred I asked for. ( tel consultations only now ) - so I’m rather inclined to manage this myself - with advice!

Pain relief for R.A - alternatives to what I'm using...
Hi there, I've had R.A since last September. I've been on MTX for the last 5 months and it hasn't worked, so I'm waiting to start on Adalimumab which I'm led to believe can take up to 12 weeks to become effective. So far I've had 3 steroid injections, along a 10 week course of Prednisolone to help

Awaiting MRI result
Had high dose oral
steroids
and then injected steroid through my eardrum but without a discernible improvement. I was told that I was being referred to an ENT consultant and for an MRI scan. I had the MRI scan with contrast several weeks ago now but haven’t heard anything further.
