ADENOMYOSIS PAIN help
Doctor thinks I have Adenomyosis too, I am 44, 1 vaginal birth, tubal ligation and Novasure Endometrial Ablation in 2015. I had the ablation due to heavy abnormal bleeding. I have not had a period since then, which is great, BUT this pain that I have been experiencing the past year for up to 2 weeks

(Only found out during a
sterilisation
op that I had it 2 years ago though, where I also had a cyst removed from my ovary). I have severe pain for 5 days each month, not during my period but from day 5 to 9.

Adenomyosis
I was diagnosed with adenomyosis after several months of pain and finally a ultrasound. Past HX: Mirena implant, which went through uterus and had to be removed laparoscopically. Severe bleeding and pain so I had endometrial oblation as well as a bilateral tubal ligation. Was great for 8 years now

New, looking for advice on what to do. Any help hugely appreciated.
Laparoscopy with ablation and
sterilisation
to confirm endo and relieve symptoms. I’m leaning towards the laparoscopy as I would really like a firm diagnosis, and I’d really like to know if it helps. Do periods stop and how long does it help for?

Filshie Clip Migration Nightmare
Has anyone on here been injured and become disabled due to metal Filshie clips from their tubal ligation? I was not given an Informed Consent before the surgery in 1998 and I had no clue that the clips kill the tubes and fall off into our bodies! Many women including myself, have been left with chronic

Can eggs be harvested at hysterectomy?
I have been diagnosed with endo (after years of miscarriage and misdiagnosis). I had a lap in September last year to remove but was back in pain again by Christmas. The consultant assured me that it couldn’t have returned so quickly, but a scan revealed it had - he ate his words. The only saving grace

Sterilization aftercare
So last Monday I went in to be sterilised. Aftercare given was not fantastic and I have searched online but nothing seems solid wherever I look. So, everything was normal, belly button and pant line incision. I have had showers every evening since Wednesday and havent got them wet (bravo too me) anyway
