Cardiologist has put me on
Statins
and aspirin regardless just because of my high risk now for HA/stroke and the pain in chest has gone apart from last 2 days since Stress test, and my anxiety of the 'What ifs'.

and they said yes) - but my companion said these days sugar is considered more of a culprit than fat, though it's what we ate as kids that's

My HBA1c was normal pre
statins
My psoriatic arthritis is not controlled so was hoping to go on a new DMARD but can’t as my LFTs are up, possibly caused by the 80mg atorvostatin. My GP won’t drop it without cardiologists say so. 5 weeks ago I was managing to walk 2-3 miles.

Does anybody know which is the enzyme, that muscles need, that statins target in the liver?
Hi All Still looking for an answer for long standing muscle aches which started during a short 12 week course of
statins
, ending in April 17 - and have not gone away but have even progressed from then. I read recently that
statins
target the same enzyme in the liver, that muscles need.

CA125 reducing
I told her that the only difference was that I had started taking a supplement called Co Enzyme Q10 100mg which had been recommended to my husband by our GP because he was taking
statins
and was suffering aches and pains.

Prognosis and return to work after ‘widow maker’
Also developed temporary liver issue due to
statins
which were stopped. Change of meds to combat angina Just over 3 weeks later had severe allergic reaction over entire body (severe lichenoid eruption) to new drug - confirmed by skin biopsy.

Private cholesterol test
I had my bypass in September last year and am on 40mg
statins
daily. I just want to know what's going on inside me, I haven't had my cholesterol checked since way back when. I'm surprised they don't do it regularly. Thanks, Steve

statins
?My boyfriend who is 29y old had a heart attack last year and he take 80mg Atorvastatin.Since then liver test results are not great😔,ALT level is 49 and Bilirubin is slowly increasing, now is 24.Do you think statin is the problem?

Hashis AND Graves!
She was also annoyed with my gp being so ignorant to offer antibiotics for tonsillitis and
statins
for my high cholesterol. Anyway I am waffling, but the long and short of it is I have antibodies for both graves and hashimotos. I am a rare case but not unheard of.

Covid testing on high risk persons.
I take a plethora of drugs including
Statins
, bp control, metformin. I have type 2 diabetes, a pacemaker fitted and have had sepsis 3 times in the last 24 months. Have ANY tests been done on the Covid 19 vaccine on people with similar conditions, and what was the outcome?

Undermedicated: what is going on here?
While on 100mcg of levo my cholesterol level reached 7.6 (prescribed
statins
but would not take them) and pre-diabetic with score of 45. Research states that cholesterol levels can rise when one is hypothyroid.
