Life after a CABG at 34...what does the long road look like?
My cholesterol was 7.5 (a high HDL) and is now 3.2 thanks to
statins
and cholesterol binders so hopefully arterisclerosis could be a thing of the past? 2. "Should I go and get therapy?"... If I put in some coping mechanisms now it could stand me in good stead for future issues?

Advice Please
The bloods were taken 6 weeks after I stopped taking
Statins
for high Cholesterol. Could I have advice as to whether they are all fine and I should just try another statin, or should I get the full private blood tests as there could still be an issue, for example autoimmune Thyroid?

due to results seeming to create more questions than answers (sudden high b12 etc) Would be good to have a bit of info so I can be armed if the GP wants to put me on

CoQ10 Good or Bad? Necessary? Reaching a Conclusion, Coenzyme Q10, Statins, Prostate Cancer
Fact:
Statins
reduce the bodies ability to produce CoQ10. Myth: CoQ10 reliably eliminates Myalgia caused by
statins
. In fact it has not been shown to be a reliable way to prevent myalgia (muscle pain side effect) in statin users.

3 months Nicotinamide treament.
Apparently patients on
Statins
should never suddenly stop them, but luckily I never started. No side effects with the B3, so I shall continue . Has anyone else noticed this effect ? Best wishes

Thyroid test results
However my cholesterol has gone up to just over 6 so was given
statins
. Cut a long story short ended up being badly constipated so then had to be give laxative sachets to take. Statin dosage was reduced but after a while had the same stomach pains i had before so now statin has been changed.

Do not know what to do..
I’ve been taking
statins
for the last 3 years due to high cholesterol so did some research and found that as well as lowering your LDL,
statins
also lower your CReactive protein, which is apparently an inflammation marker.

Familial Hypercholesterolaemia (Inherited High Cholesterol) alias FH
I found I had a natural cholesterol level of between 9 and 10 over 20 years ago and have been taking
statins
ever since, and wondered whether I fit into this condition.
