Latest Bloods - Dr requested a review
3) I know they keep wanting to speak to me about my cholesterol as it has barely come down since I was diagnosed, potential
statins
? 4) Also, unrelated, can I take my daily antihistamine (Cetirizine) at the same time as my Levo?

Statins & Steroids
I’ve been advised to take
statins
due to high cholesterol levels of 7.0, Serum triglycerides 2.3, HDL 2.5, HDL ratio 2.8, LDL 3.4, non HDL 4.5. I’m reluctant to take more meds but I’m unclear of the meaning of all the results and if I should take
statins
or not.

Rutin Food supplement Claudification in legs
Does anybody have any information re the use of the above, in particular in relation to pad, atrial fabrillation, etc when on beta blockers, blood pressure tablets, apixaban,
statins
? Does it help anyway with claudification in the legs? Any practical advice suggestions?

High Cholesterol and Statins
I've also heard that
statins
are anti inflammatory and could assist with my gastritis which I believe has triggered my AF in the past. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

heart and asthma
My combined cholesterol is below 4 ( 3.6)which they seemed happy with but they prescribed
statins
anyway. I now have to go back to the GP to see what’s next . Has anyone else had similar symptoms with their heart due to severe asthma or COPD ?

Diabetes and Statins
Statins
bring cholesterol down but raise blood sugar. Off
statins
my cholesterol is 6.4 and has been for years. Now struggle with tryclicerides being high , hence the
statins
. Both high blood sugar and high tryclicerides damage arteries. Catch 22. Any ideas.

Heart Disease medication Side effects?
I know
statins
can cause this but it does cause anxiety thinking about messing with my medication again! The other thing I have going on is numbness in my right hand and wrist. Like pins and needles this happens regularly and I can’t see a pattern for it.

stopping statins
It turned out he had decided to stop his
statins
a week or so back. So …I know you are not supposed to stop suddenly and not without medical advice and have said this …but at the end of the day the decision is his surely?

Post cabg.2- 16wk recovery review
I recovered well, no issues, but my cardio was very slow, and this annoyed me because pre op i was quite fit.I didn't want the op and didn't believe i needed it.Plus i was scared. The surgeon wanted a four way and i definitely wasn't having that.I said i don't want it to to fail, not two years in or ten

I’d never had tendinitis in my elbow, I’ve been working out for 18 years, and after taking statin i started having tendinitis that last for 6 months, then I stoped taking it and the pain took away. Then as the pain was away a i stated taking it again and after 2 months I got pain one more time in my
