A little more to my story of yesterday, in June last year, 6 weeks after my pacemaker was fitted, I had HF and pneumonia, and my weight had rocketed to 96.4 Kg. In hospital was put on Furosemide and my fluids measured in and out. In the 5 days in I lost about 4Kg. When I got out I was like a dog passing a trees. Did not feel great

Fortunately went to 6 weeks of rehab classes, during which time the nurses helped by cutting my Bisoprolol dose in half. Then stopped the Furosemide, followed by stopping Ramipril and starting Entresto. My weight is down to 83Kg, need get rid of another 3kg. Now feel great, OK I get tired but that is partially age.

I am fortunate. I hope this reads as' good news' and encourages folk to be positive (difficult sometimes, I know)
