Hello everyone. I have lived with RA for 20 years. I also have Lupus which I have had most of my life. I've learned a lot over all these years. I was very involved with a support group, but moved away from the area. I miss the support group very much, I made many friends who our still a part of my life

Hi All, I really wish I had joined this Forum a lot sooner....I am certain that no one wants to suffer but it is reassuring to read that I am not alone! For the last 4/5 years I have been suffering bouts of discomfort that can vary from urgent visits to the loo, pain, headaches - all sorts. For some

Hi, Ive posted on here quite a fews times as i have an issue that I'm really trying to find answers for, I am unable to contract my pelvic floor and unable to be physical with my partner as it feels as though my vaginal muscles are being pulled outwards (away from the body) and causing me to feel wide

Hi all, I'm not too sure whether this is the most appropriate community in which to post this particular query, however I couldn't really find another relevant community either, and as I'm already a member here just thought I'd plonk it here anyway! Basically, I had a nasty acute kidney infection just

As you know, Pete has sarcoidosis and copd. He also has a back problem that we hoped could be corrected with a spinal cord stimulator. Sadly that does not appear to have worked and it's back to Southampton on Friday. Not sure what can be said or done but just have to wait and see. It is possible that

Zytiga and Xtandi .... what do you think about this?
Diagnosed in ‘2008 at the age of 50. Because it was in his lymph node, he went with Casodex (30 days), Lupron (2 years) and radiation (40 external beam). In ‘2012 he did Taxotere when his PSA had a one month doubling rate. Planned to do 6 months, but was stopped at four months with heavy side effects

Re: Itching and skin pain
Can you tell me whether itching and skin pain could be connected to lupus? I have had severe problems following spinal surgery and in the end they removed my metalwork thinking I was reacting to this. I also had huge amounts of pain in my back. I suffered terribly for two years where my skin was sore

The Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery
Hi all I am on a waiting list for spinal surgery at the Walton Centre in Liverpool and was wondering if anyone has had surgery/treatment there? This is a revision procedure but I had my first operation at a different hospital, therefore would be grateful if anyone would be willing to share their experience

Spinal Fusion at L5-S1
Alright so I have reached my breaking point in back pain I have done everything in my power to avoid surgery but I can't take the pain anymore!!! I've done epidurals, pain meds, nerve block meds, chiropractic, physical therapy, and I've even tried my own strengthening routine (after lots of research)

Tinnitus. Other pain. Help please
Hi I had spinal surgery 6 months ago due to sudden leg weakness. Mri showed large disc bulge and bone spurs at T12-L1. Also had bad stenosis at L2 L3. So I underwent a decompression surgery.
