Hi Flo-jo44,
I'm sorry you also have other health issues as well as the thyroid gland. I do hope you can get your spine problem sorted out. This is a link which might be helpful:-
I had quite a big spinal op in 2007 for stenosis in the lower spine. I also have a spondylilothesis - or is it spondylolithesis ? This obviously affects the whole spine.
How are your B12 levels ?
I had surgery for scoliosis correction way back in 1976, it causes a lot of problems and chronic pain now. They used a Harrington Rod which turned out to be more trouble than anything else. X
I smashed 3 discs, so i have rods and bolts..... Got beaten by ex husband and now have 6 discs prolapsed
I have had ankylosing spondylitis for fifty years but luckily the fusion has been limited and i am stiff but not totally solid. When i was diagnosed it took around ten years to be diagnosed andwomen were not thought to be affected ,we know different now. Some folk were walking bent double years ago but if caught in time these days can be kept straight when the spine fuses.
NASS is the charity that provides advice to spondylitis sufferers .NB NOT spondylosis which is very different.
