Need a little bit of help/advice
Hi, New here, so hopefully this post is correct? I moved to Vietnam 2 years ago, whilst over there, I’m very careful in what I eat & where I eat but I have diarrhoea/loose bowl movements at least once a week. I came to the UK for Xmas for 2 weeks (I’m still here) & I still had diarrhoea, I had it on

9 months after Chemo PSA on the rise.
Saw Oncologist today, my PSA has been steady 0.028 since the Chemo ended, today it's 0.70. I had the surgery (subcapsular orchiectomy) in Nov so maybe my body just needs to settle from the trauma. I asked about Testosterone levels, he didn't know and he asked for another blood test. He did say the Chemo

Terrible guts after flu
I have had a fluey virus since the 10th of December. The flu symptoms went away after about 11 days, but during that time I’ve been feeling nauseous and have had diarrhoea. I also had such an acidic stomach I lost my appetite. I got an emergency appointment at my GP on Friday 20th. I was acutely anxious

I am also thinking that
sodium
laurel sulphate in hair dye, toothpaste, hair shampoo & conditioner possibly makes it worse too. Would be interested to know if anyone else has any experience of this. Thanks. Related Tags

Sitting down is a real pain!
I suspect that this is in common with many, many people but just over 2 years ago I had another familiar episode but this time it did not diminish with the usual
sodium
diclofenac and Co-Codomol.

I’m in a bad way
I posted a week or so back that I was really ill with a virus. So I’m still really ill. Ended up at the GP as an emergency last Friday morning as I was in an acute anxiety attack, as well as still have diarrhoea and feeling so sick. My husband and youngest daughter came and I can’t tell you how appallingly

Toddler Constipation - born premature...help!
They have put her onto a large daily dose of
sodium
picosulphate. Sometimes it works, more often it doesn’t and we still have a weekly episode of screaming and tears, which is so heartbreaking to witness.

Bananas and V-8 seem to alleviate calf stiffness/cramps
I decided to take the easiest approach and started a banana a day and 8 ounces of low
sodium
V-8 juice, both of which boast good potassium. Hoping not to tempt fate, so far this simple solution has worked.

Would a cold producing mucus cause lower blood sodium levels?
My serum
sodium
came back as 132 (my lab reference range 133-146) when the blood test was taken I was suffering with a bad chesty cold which produced plenty of mucus from nose and chest.

GFR dropping fast!
I eat a low
sodium
diet, exercise daily at the gym...all to no avail. Is there any hope of raising my GFR?

IBS basics for beginners
The same would apply for mono-
sodium
glutamate (MSG), which clinical trials and several scientific articles connect with IBS. In the stomach this will quickly become glutamic acid (a di-acid) and lose the
sodium
. In white wine malic acid, and in red wine succinic acid do the same.

Is this recovery?
I'm a little confused as to how I'm doing. I took two tablets of Flucloaxillin in May and got very very unwell and haven't been the same since. Im a touring musician who's had gigs a few times a month thus taking around one dose of imodium once per week since October. I've found the effects to last up
