Salt - serum sodium
Whilst my ESR and CRP are within the normal range my serum
sodium
is 130mmol/L. (133 - 146.00mmol/L). It has been like this for the past year or so and everyone has ignored it 'til now. I am not one for pills unless I really need them like prednisolone.

A new approach for treatment of subthreshold bipolar disorders: Targeted high dose levothyroxine+repetitive TMS for mitochondrial treatment
A very interesting paper. Difficult to grab any individual bits for discussion or introduction. The whole paper isn't very long. Even if bipolar disorders are not themselves of much direct interest, it might be worth a quick read because it discusses the control group as well and their ability to tolerate

Valproate: new safety and educational materials to support regulatory measures in men and women under 55 years of age
I don't think there is any reason to expect many members to be taking any form of Valproate, but this is such an important issue, with such significant consequences, I've decided to post it anyway. Even if you are not taking it, someone you know might be. [i]

Falling eGFR?
My latest tests were: Serum
sodium
142 mmol/L,Serum potassium 3.8,Serum creatinine 78,! eGFRcreat (CKD-EPI)/1.73 m*2. 76 mmol/L umol/L mL/min. I felt really unwell when the tests were taken so wondering if this is possibly indicative?

B12 by injection 💉 - first steps . . . 👣
One of the commercial brands available is Neo-cytamen 1000ug/ml hydroxocobalamin for injection - the info for this (P.I.L.) is easily found online - a simple product with only
sodium
chloride**, acetic acid** (- vinegar) in water, with the active ingredient.

Switching from Disopyramide to Bisoprolol - any advice?
I am nervous about the switch, as Disopyramide is an anti-arhythmic (
sodium
channel blocker?) while (as I understand it) Bisoprolol is a rate control/beta blocker drug.

Laxido orange...
So far this year I've had at least 30 doctors appointments, have been hospitalised with hyponetramia (caused by
sodium
deficiency) diagnosed with low folate and spent a week in hospital having Xrays and CT scans all to no avail. All this began after starting Laxido for a bout of constipation.

Need advice on dosage of thyroid
My wife also has just been told she has a low
sodium
level of 131mml in the latest blood 🩸 test so we have to sort that as well. My name’s Stephen we appreciate any help or advice. We are not newbies to hypothyroidism but realise the hard way you have to sort it yourself to a large degree.

Low sodium diet
Anyway, his Nephrologist put him on low
sodium
November 30th. I went on it with him and haven't had a migraine since! So for those of you who are supporting loved ones, just something to think about. 👍😊

3 weeks into disimpaction but can’t get to thinner stools than gravy
Done all the correct macrogol doses and still on 8 per day since day 7 (now day 21) and for the last two nights we’ve added one evening dose of 2.5ml Of
sodium
Pico. Still just gravy stools consistently. Do we keep going? Up the
sodium
pico?

I take levothyroxine 50mg for subclinical thypothyroidism, escitalopram 20mg and valproate 500mg( for anxiety). My symptoms are classical symptoms of bradychardia, like dizziness
