Please read all post carefully.
Please find where i said "that vitamins and supplements are no benefit" in my post. Like MBAnderson wrote in his response. Personally i would not seek out a wholistic healer. In the last 12 years i have not heard about or read about a wholistic way of treating PD that has been proven to control PD.

Newbie Question
HI all. Well we're 2 weeks in from diagnosis and I have my first question for the group. Background - he (boyfriend - 42) sought treatment because his right (dominant) shoulder had become stiff, no swinging and he was having dexterity problems with things like tying his shoes, shaving, etc. as well

Zandopa
I recently ordered some of this from India and it arrived today. There are, however, no instructions for the dosage you should follow. It merely says on the bottle to follow your doctor's instructions. My doctor knows I have the stuff and he is okay with me trying it, but he knows as much about how

Painful rigidity
My name is Kevin and I'm writing for my wife Katie. She was diagnosed in 2010. She is 58 and having extreme rigidity in her left arm. It is really painful for her. Does anyone have a recommendation for some relief? She is taking Sinemet, Ropinirole and just recently started trying medical marijuana.

Another newbie
Hi all. I've been following this blog for a few months now. Thought I would say hello! I was diagnosed in Feb 2017. Had a twitching in my left thumb in early 2016. Didn't think much of it. Though it was a lingering bowling injury. Then late in the summer of 2016, it grew to a resting tremor in

Tapering Sinemet
I have been taking Sinemet in a very low dosage of 6/25-25 for the last 2 months for the first time to help my dystonia but it didn’t work much so I am tapering it off to stop taking it completely in the next few days. Please share your thoughts about stopping Sinemet here.

How the VieLight 810 helped my husband
My husband's good results fromthe VieLight 810 I will preface this by saying that about one month before using the VieLight 810, he started on Seraquel, 25 mg. for psychosis. At that time, he was totally disoriented, wandering the house constantly, wearing diapers and couldn't sleep at all. It brought

Using Azo bladder control or similar supplement
My PWP has always had to get up multiple times in the night to urinate. With PD, the frequency is a little more often, and he can't always get out of bed quickly enough. The anxiety he feels going to bed, and panic when he can't get up, are keeping us both awake most of the night, almost every night

Post DBS Surgery
I am now just over two months out from my DBS surgery. At my last neuro appointment, the doc changed my meds from taking one 25/100 Sinemet every two hours to taking one 25/100 Sinemet and one extended release 25/100 Sinemet every three to four hours. He also wants me to increase my regulator each

Rx vs. Supplements your thoughts please
Why do I think I would be better to use supplements rather than prescription drugs? Is it because I believe big Pharma’s main objective is to make money rather than help cure? Why do I think taking Levocarb and Sinemet will have negative results somewhere in my body? Is it because, when listening to
