Meds not working well again
My PD husband and has been taking 4 or 5
sinemet

CR
for about a year and started using neuropro patch 2mg 6 months ago. He was on madopar for several years prior, but it was never right for him. Suddenly it seems his meds aren't working and the pd symptoms are severe again.

looking for the best B-complex to take along with additional B1 Hcl
I have been struggling to find the “sweet spot” with high dose thiamine therapy for almost 2 yrs. Diagnosed with PD for 7 yrs. Main issue is increasing stiffness in both legs. I try to do fast walking every day but it is becoming harder and harder. I have been taking a B-complex from Bronson’s which

Severe RLS Augmentation on Pramipexole
I just discovered this wonderful site. I am 69, female, and live in Quebec, Canada. I have had RLS since I my youth and can identify with so many of your struggles. When officially diagnosed in my 20’s, I was prescribed clonazepam which helped for a few years. I then was referred to a neurologist and

Ferritin concern
My Ferritin level is 126. I thought this was triggering my severe RLS since I had a total knee replacement in November , 2023. My RLS is off the rail . I want an Iron infusion, but the health group I belong to, does not believe I need this? I am traveling the next 2 months, will take Sinemet to use on

DIY compounding?
I just changed drug regimen from just Sinemet to Sinemet plus Pramipexole. When I am out and about getting 2 pills out is a pain. I asked my Neuro if it was OK to stuff them in a gelcap. She said yes. Is anyone else doing this? Problems? Now to patent it and sell it for 1000 x the cost🤣😂

Marginal vs Significant Sinemet Benefit
Hello again. So after a ten-month hiatus after my initial consult, the NHS finally scheduled my LCT. There was only a marginal 'on' benefit. Do we have any idea what the percentage split is between the two outcomes? Thank you.

Sinemet Dosage
Hi all, I’ve recently been experiencing wearing off symptoms only 2 / 3 hours after taking Sinemet meds. Limbs feel heavy, tremors worse, exhausted as my body is so tense all the time. Sometimes I just try to walk it off, not very successful! The neurologist has upped my dosage to 1x25mg plus 1x12.5mg

Sinemet dosage
My neurologist felt that I was taking too much sinemet.125/100 and cut me back from 8 pills a day to 6 every 3 hours and none at night. I wind up freezing up and can’t move in bed. I live alone and this is impossible. My mornings go fairly well but afternoons I feel I’m almost getting too much.

Adding Sinemet to Mucuna
We're trying to go in the opposite direction of many here by adding Sinemet to Mucuna and are having a heck of a time... it's been exhausting and a little scary. Hoping anyone here can help a bit. For about 6 years now, my partner Jay (diagnosed 2009) has been taking only Mucuna at rather high doses

Can taking Sinemet when not needed cause PSP-like symptoms?
Hi everyone. We're in the UK. My mother in-law, at 81, was admitted to hospital in the summer of 2022 with a fall, as a result of extreme dehydration. She had been suffering many of the usual aging problems, CKD, obesity, hypertension etc and also a left hand tremor. During her stay she was treated

Stalevo and incontinence.
OK no one likes talking about this stuff so I'm gonna be brief. I've been on Sinemet for 9 years. Entacapone introduced in February. Transferred to Stalevo over a period of four weeks, been on "all Stalevo" for about 5 days. Which, coincidentally (or perhaps not) is the same length of time I've been

sudden horrible off periods
after nearly 30 years dealing with this awful disease, I’m experiencing horrible wearing off symptoms. I take my sinemet every 3 hours but now if I’m just 5 to 10 late, I completely shut down, having this feeling that I’m just going to die, it’s become very scary and I’ll take my meds and just wait

Back after a long time
Hi everyone, I haven't posted in quite some time, but I'm back because I need input from all the wonderful people on this platform. More than five years ago, my mom had a fall and was put on hospice care. They gave up on us too quickly, and she ended up with an NG tube down her throat for months
