Painkillers for Drain Pain
Last night I suffered excruciating drain pain through all 8 hours of dialysis this has never happened to me before. All day my stomach has felt tender and tight. I never ever take painkillers for anything but last night was horrible. Does anyone know if painkillers would help or I am open to any other

8 Days Post Op
So I thought I’d share my story in the hope that it helps someone else make an informed choice if circumcision is on their radar. I’m a 40 yo male who has always had a very bad case of phimosis. Very tight foreskin that just would not retract at all and as a result was very paranoid about the appearance

GCA now PMR advice please
Main symptoms in both
shoulder
joints at front were horrible stinging and soreness. Stinging
pain
if I slept ont them. The gentlest exercise made this worse. Some aches around shoulders and L shoulder blade but not too bad and go with relaxation. L shoulder no problems with movement.

Spinal Cord Stimulator and PMR pain
After a couple of days of reduced dose, (by .5 mg,), I started having my familiar PMR bilateral
shoulder
and hip
pain
. At first I thought the problem was my month- old-implant…which had been working beautifully.

Fibromyalgia and Lisfranc
Hi , I’m looking help regarding medication or health alternatives to manage pain. Here’s a bit of background after years of going to doctor I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in March 2020. In one way it was a relief because I honestly though I was going round the bend and I think my family though

Thank you Dear Friends.
After discussion with my CNS on Monday(she is wonderful and had a bit of a soggy
shoulder
afterwards) I am to have a referral to the Palliative
pain
specialist team. So hopefully they will be able to offer some help.

Tests and questions to ask rheum/internist. New PMR male patient diagnosed in March.
He is really suffering mostly with left
shoulder
pain
more than anything. We’re going back to Rheumy on Monday and an Internist on May 10th. Both doctors are new to us having recently moved. What are the best questions to ask the doctor and are there any tests we should ask for?

Selegiline is Neuroprotective
According to the article I will link below, Selegiline is Neuroprotective. I have read some of the actual studies concluding this but the link is a good summary. I have read that selegiline is not compatible with some cold medicines. I have not determined if this would apply to Ambroxol and Montelukast

what could be the cause?
I pulled all the muscles in my left side and
shoulder
. so,I was in a lot of
pain
with breathing, lying down etc. I was prescribed naproxen for the pain...which triggered asthma.I then got acid reflux from the naproxen.

Growth inhibitory effect of doxazosin on prostate and bladder cancer cells. Is the serotonin receptor pathway involved?
Doxazosin
, an alpha1-adrenoceptor antagonist, is used for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and hypertension. Alpha-adrenoceptor antagonists also inhibit growth and induce apoptosis in malignant prostatic cells. The apoptotic activity is independent of their capacity to antagonize

So angry at this RA thing?
Does anyone else get angry at this RA disease? I’m finding myself getting so very angry at things, like the injection I have to have every week that makes me tired, but if I don’t have it I’m tired anyway but get swollen parts and pain. At the fact that my little granddaughter gets poorly and I can’t
