Normal test results after CKD diagnosis
Well, after having another blood test ( number 3) to check liver function and also a urine test been told over the phone results are normal no action. Not sure what this means so going to ring to try to speak to doc next week. Not sure how you can go from a you have CKD diagnosis to normal 3 weeks later

Could anyone on here give me an answer to this question. Do you now have to go through a GP/ Consultant to get a general urine test. I have go through quite a lot of stomach pain, and on the odd occasion it’s been due to a water infection. Now when I get pain that I feel is different or unbearable

On path for an MRI-guided SBRT
April 2023: After not too much activity on my side on this forum (aside from following a few threads), thought it time for a little update, as I am getting closer to a "definitive" therapy, after my initial diagnosis in Oct. 2019. In the last year or so, I have been doing imaging - PSMA PET-CT in March

A trial and some tribulations
After final screening on February 14 (Valentine's Day!), a week later, I started the NCT05536349 trial , "Time-limited Triplet Combination of Pirtobrutinib, Venetoclax, and Obinutuzumab for Patients With Treatment-naĂŻve Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) or Richter Transformation (RT)" at M.D. Anderson

Does Buspirone take time to work
I moved the actual question to the front. Lol. Too much rant. My question is: If any of you take buspirone, what were You told, please, as far as how it works? This is kind of a "poll" for my arsenal, not something I intend to use as medical advice. ***Were you told it takes awhile to work, and

Never ending problems
I am going to moan - big time - because I am getting to the point where I don't know which way to turn. I have Hashimotos Thyroiditis, Arthritis, Pernicious Anaemia, Hypertension, Coeliac disease and now some unexplained kidney problem. I have had an MRI which has shown a problem but I don't know what

Haemosiderin Staining Lower legs
I have a problem with haemosiderin staining in my lower right leg. Blood work shows a normal INR and APTT range and the CBC & Auto differential is normal. Urine sample showed a normal result. My GP thinks this may not be a vascular problem, but that there may be a possibility of this discolouration

A bleed post positive test 🤯
Third transfer following ERA. Thrown everything at this round - glue, scratch, probiotics, blood thinning injections, aspirin…… 10dp5dt we got a really faint positive - it wasn’t convincing. Three days later we had to do a blood test (which was new) - again, the line was soo faint. 15dp5dt my partner

Prostate cancer test confidence…
I recently requested a physical prostate examination and a PSA test after suffering weeks of constant feelings of a need to urine. I had both of the tests as well as a urine test and was told that everything seemed fine. I was reassured by this, but have since read that both the physical examination

NMDA and AMPA are both synthesized chemicals that activate glutamate receptors, they incite glutamate excitotoxicity
The natural ligand for NMDARs is Glutamate (and to a lesser extent, Aspartate) but the receptors also require a co-agonist Glycine or D-
serine
for activation. There are two separate sub-units. NR1 (which binds Glycine) and NR2 (binds Glutamate).

I thought my appointment would be with a rheumatologist consultant but it was the final 4pm slot last Thursday (ie day before bank holiday) and the staff on duty looked far from enthusiastic to see me. I started to doubt it would go well when I saw quite a few urine samples including mine chucked

Very unusual for me blood test results. Any ideas of what would explain it?
In December 2022 I was prescribed antibiotics. I didn't want to take these because of concern for my kidneys, and even told my doctor. The result was I had a pretty bad stomach reaction, which turned into something like an IBS flareup. I'm not sure, because there are still a few tests to take. I

being ignored by my go and their receptionists.
I went to my Drs 3 weeks ago and gave a urine sample, I haven’t received any medication to deal with this even though my gp sent an electronic prescription to Lloyds direct yet they werent informed that it had been sent to them. I had to ring Lloyds to inform them that a prescription had been sent to

Brief update on my lower Intestinal Tract Capsule Endoscopy.
Just to let you know that the procedure went fine. Although the camera was a little larger than an Omega 3 high strength capsule, I found that with the right mindset I swallowed it easily. The staff were a little disconcerted about my long term steroid use and the possibility of an adrenal crisis and

Fluid in fallopian tube
Hi everyone, I’m about to start my 5th and final round of IVF following 4 months of Prostap. I had a saline scan with my fertility clinic in December and they said there is possibly fluid in my 1 fallopian tube. I had a laparoscopic myomectomy in August to remove endometriosis and fibroids. My gynae

Still no diagnosis Following Syncope!
Hi, just over a year ago I collapsed whilst driving. Miraculously my wife brought the car to a halt and we are still here to tell the tale. Since then, I have had every test you could imagine and a loop recorder fitted last March which has picked up about four episodes of AT and VT, mostly when I am
