The Simon Foundation for Continence would like to let you know about a new and important study that is looking for participants.

The groundbreaking urinary microbiome study is the world’s first comprehensive look at the organisms that reside in the bladder in healthy individuals, compared with those who experience recurrent urinary tract infections (UTI).

The study will improve the understanding of recurrent UTI - which is becoming urgent in the face of rising antibiotic resistance. In fact, UTI is one of the most widespread infections globally - affecting around 440 million people every year.

The research that will evolve from this study will help guide the future direction of recurrent UTI diagnosis and treatment. And, to achieve all this, the researchers need people with female anatomy who are based in the US mainland and are willing to send urine samples and answer a few questions. Not too difficult!

See whether you qualify by completing the screening questionnaire at this link: l.linklyhq.com/l/1hOue

For more general information about the study use this link: l.linklyhq.com/l/1hOue

Importantly, this study needs women with AND without recurrent UTIs to participate, otherwise the study will not succeed. So spread the word far and wide! We ask that you send your willing female friends and family based in the USA to the screening questionnaire to see if they qualify.

Thank you for helping with this very important study!
