hi I would say not to inject until you have had it checked out, definitely stop if you need antibiotics

I wasn't sure...the docs don't open for a few hours here in the US, so I have to wait for a response...but I will wait and see what they say...Thank you, I was kind of thinking the same thing..

The first time I had one on Actemra I was told by a rheumatologist to miss that week until the symptoms improved. I have had symptoms of a UTI several times but usually I take D-mannose immediately I notice any frequency and that has been plenty to avoid it getting worse each time. If I have no symptoms when the injection is due, I do it.

PS - my own rheumatologist said the good thing with Actemra is that you can delay the jab by a day or two to get over minor symptoms and just change your day. I had been injecting on Wednesdays but wondered if I was getting a cold so waited, by Friday I decided I wasn't and injected and now use Friday as "the day".

I read that Actemra has a half life after 8 days and takes about 3 months to be completely out of your system....thank you again PMR Pro...your advise is never taken lightly,,,

Do you take this daily? Or just when you have symptoms? The lab came back positive but "low colony" and I will start Amoxicillian for 7 days...meanwhile I will receive the D-Mannose today. The rheumatologist said skip Actemra this week.

Do I take what daily? Not clear what you mean,

I assume D-mannose? I take it if I notice symptoms - 2 or 3 doses of 3 capsules the first day and the second if the symptoms don't go away. Some people take it daily, I don't, a bit expensive here.

No apology needed - it's the way HU works, can be very confusing!
