Lung restriction and mucus blocking airways
I’d not used any inhalers or asthma meds for a few years but since lockdown my asthma has got much worse and I’m now on
seretide
250 2 puffs twice a day and spiriva respimat 2.5 micro grams 2 puffs once a day.

Increased Phlegm from exercise?
I was diagnosed 18 months ago with mild COPD, which has been kept under control with
Seretide
250. I haven’t been to pulmonary rehab due to it being cancelled because of Covid.

I take
seretide
250 one puff twice a day, 1 montelukast tablet per night, ventolin as and when required and have had 5 courses of prednisolone in the past 12 months. Just trying to gauge where I stand! Many thanks.

How can this be allowed?
I already take
seretide
500, monitored by my Dr and have frequent check ups. Insidentely he never stops the medication and will overturn it usually, showing his frustration. He is on holiday so agreed to speak to AN.

Skin allergies
(still
Seretide
because of tachycardia that doesn't flow well with salbutamol) The problem now is that I have gotten these skin allergies!🤕 it's so irritating because I just keep scratching my skin and get hives eventually.

How long for seretide 250 to take full effect?
I've been on the
seretide
250 for two weeks using it with an aero chamber. I was previously on fostair 100 but was taking it the maximum amount each day so my doctor tried me on this. I'm also taking montekulast which helps I think but causes me to wake up with vivid dreams.

To get rid of the stupidly high dose of
seretide
I was one, the respo nurses moved me over onto
seretide
(2x 2 puffs, an and pm) plus spiriva respinat (2 puffs, am), plus retaining my montelukast.

Seretide

Bad exacerbation - when to return to work?
The nurse was horrified at the
seretide
dose, and arranged a full blood sweep for allergens plus spirometry, FeNo etc booked for January once I've got over this flare.

Overfilled Chest
I’m newly on my
Seretide
and have a symptom I’m a bit concerned about. Not caused by the
Seretide
but I’m hoping it clears it up. Does anyone here feel like their airways are too full?

Can Seretide make coughing worse
I’ve found that if I forget to take my
Seretide
at night I don’t cough. Otherwise I’m up several times a night coughing and sometimes need to take my reliever

How can you tell the difference between asthma and a chest infection?
I had an asthma flare up last week following a good spell and a decrease of
Seretide
250 dosage to 1 puff 2 x per day alongside Montelukast, Nasonex nasal spray, Fexofenadine. I put the dose back up and after a couple of rough days, things seemed to settle.

Blocked from return to work w/ controlled asthma?
if it ever flares up, then
seretide
for a while works perfectly.
