Persistent asthma symptoms - Kindly need your advice
I have had a constant need to use my inhaler (
Seretide
) I have actually finished it up in a few days. But I constantly find myself reacting to a lot of things (perfumes, the cold, etc) I wheeze at night, have a tight chest and really feel like I can hardly take a full deep breath.

Humidity
He’s now on two brands of anti histamine,
Seretide
, Montelukast, and a nose spray - his triggers are many including humidity. It’s the humidity that’s causing the most issues at the moment. Any advice?

Adult-onset asthma and Cushing
The thing is, I took
Seretide
(total 4 pumps from 11pm-8am) and today I just realised
Seretide
is a steroid drug. I haven't told the Endo yet, I'm seeing her next Monday. Does taking the inhaler while on ODST affect the results?

Can anyone recommend a respiratory clinic
I’m on
seretide
375 bd but that’s not working very well anymore. When I increase to 500mcg BD I get a hoarse voice and side effects. I tried Fostair for a bit but I think that didn’t work as well and made me get palpitations - not sure as I have been suffering from anxiety anyway.

Chest pain when lying or leaning
I am on
Seretide
125 2 x am and pm, Montelukast and Fexofenadine. The right side of my chest feels very sore and cramped if I lie on my side or stomach or lean on it e.g. on a sofa. Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you,

Inhalers - Seretide versus Airflusal
I have been taking
Seretide
Evohaler 250 for years but my GP has now moved me to Airflusal. I know Airflusal has the same ingredients but i suffer from anxiety and I'm frightened to go on to the new inhaler in case it doesn't work the same. I have been buy
Seretide
but it's expensive.

Asthma flare up since January
I think the inhaler change created inflammation and I am now back on my
seretide
250. I have rhinitis so use daily sinus rinse, nose spray and omeprazole for reflux. Is there anything else I can do???

Bad mood, irritable, fatigued and restless
My increased
Seretide
has lifted my PF back into my green zone and I do feel a little better when standing up. However I’m so grumpy, irritable, fatigued but can’t sit still. Every little noise is irritating. I find lying down uncomfortable (breathing wise).

New to Fostair 100/6
I’ve started on a new inhaler (from
seretide
to fostair). My consultant has told me to take 2 puffs 4x a day for 2 weeks, then 2 puffs 3x a day for 2 weeks then eventually 2 puffs twice a day then possibly a little less.

Relvar?
I have been on
seretide
for years and doctor changed me to Fostair which did not work so back to
seretide
. I know some drugs work better than others for some people. Was wondering what the latest steroid inhalers are and opinions of Relvar which I had not heard of.

From Fostair to Symbicort
I was on Fostair 200/6 for two years after being on
Seretide
250 for ages and it was working ok. Last few weeks I’ve been having daily symptoms. Nothing major, but constant and irritating. I spoke to my asthma nurse and she put me on Symbicort 200/6 instead.

Coping not cured!
The pharmaceutical company then joined them together as
Seretide
and I have never looked back. Now I am so well that very often I forget to take the Ventolin inhaler with me when going out.

Why seretide is the first course of action for asthma...Why not some steroid free treatment to start with?
My question is that do I need to stay on
seretide
course because I cannot differentiate my symptoms are due to gerd or asthma. Sometimes I feel it's belching and sometimes pure SOB. How can I make a difference

Seretide 250 to fostair
So he decided to change my inhaler from
seretide
to fostair. I have a bit of an odd question for anyone that has been on both. When I take my
seretide
inhaler, it really speeds up my heart rate (which I know is normal). Does fostair do the same? Or is it less or more? Thanks in advance!
