Inhalers with and without counters
Yes, I do have far too much time on my hands When I finished my Seretide the other day I sprayed it into thw air just to see how much was left, and it was about 30 puffs! I know they say to stop at 000 so youre sure of getting full dose. Does this mean we don't get full doses of non-counter inhalers

Muscle Cramps - side effect?
Hi I use Seretide 250, 2 puffs twice a day. I've been getting really bad cramps for ages now. At first I thought I was dehydrated so I drank lots more, that didn't help, I tried eating bananas, massaging the effected areas regularly (to try and prevent it, not just as a way of easing it) but nothing

Seretide and chicken pox??? Help!!!
Hi everyone, It's been a few months since I've been on the forum but its nice to see so many familiar names in here, and some new ones too. I hope you and your little ones are all doing well. I am just having a panicking mother moment as one of my mummy friends from school has just called me to tell

Atrovent inhaler.
Hi My son Thomas is on seretide 125, nedocromil, flixonase and ventolin. Since the weather started turning he already has had 1 course of steroids and is now on his first admission of this autumn/winter season. Last year he had quite a few admissions. Is anyone on Atrovent inhaler - have you found

Having problems after a cold
I'm having some problems after having a cold four weeks ago. Ever since the cold I've had a cough and pain in my chest, the nurse gave me antibioctics which seemed to help things but I still have a cough (not as bad), pain and am really breathless. This is the worst my asthma has been - the dr doubled

What combined inhalers work for you - if you have a heart problem/arythmia
Hello I had another chest infection in July (during the hot weather) - it flared my asthma up really badly so was on my first course of steroids for 7 days (had awful side effects coming off them as just stopped the 40mg a day no tapering) and in hospital twice, anyway my consultant gave me a new inhaler

Do you use fostair??
Hi everyone I've not been on for a while mainly due to the summer hols and not suffering too much with my health. I have been diagnosed with osteopenea and have started tablets to protect my bones, are many of you on those? One of the things that may help is moving from seretide 125 to fostair. Do

Worried about current situation
Hi, I have had asthma all my life. Most of the time I had no symptoms, lately, it has been very bad - keeping me awake and coughing a lot. I get breathless very easily now. I was on Seretide 250 and Ventolin. Had a bad spell (needed several nebulisers over the last few weeks), now got a haemophilus
