Hi - Hoping that some of you may be able give me some useful advice. Had a horrible cold/cough back in August which set off Asthma symptoms. I thought I had it under control with extra Ventolin and upped my Seretide 250 to 2 puffs twice a day. Things seemed to improve after 3 weeks of coughing and being

Despairing as keep being told ' it's not typical asthma' so won't officially diagnose
Hi, I wrote a post on here the other day, long story short.... ? Asthma since March this year following bronchitis episodes. Ever since started having ' attacks' I keep being told that it's asthma, but isn't' as my symptoms aren't text book. When I was admitted to hospital following 2 acute attacks

Seretide v Fostair
Hi Guys. I saw the respiratory nurse a month ago and she got me to change from my usual Seretide 500 to Fostair. All was well for a week or so then my SATS went off a cliff and my heart rate shot up by 20% or so. I have now changed back to the Seretide and I am slowly picking up. Has anyone else had

Any advice appreciated:)
I'm 48 and long story short, had 3 episodes of bronchitis in 2 months earlier this year. this, my specialist says, triggered adult asthma. Well.....kinda. As Chest was always clear, not wheezing, o2 levels ok and as I also have a chronic cough (prolonged, deep) difficulty in inhaling ( can't use inhaler

Feel so out of control
I've had adult onset asthma for many years and it was always relatively well controlled on seretide 250 and montelukast (just the odd chest infection through the years needing steroids and antibiotics). I never considered it a huge issue but I've had a massive drop in control in the last few months.

I know this sounds silly but I still finding it hard to get my head around what is being recovered from an asthma attack. I had one on monday started taking my steroids (as per my asthma plan which says 7 days) and went to the doctors on Tuesday to tell them I had had an asthma attack. So far I am on

Inhaler
I am a new member, 82, male, and suffer with C.O.P.D. My Seretide inhaler, which was very beneficial, was recently changed to Sirdupla. The side effects of Sirdupla, over the five weeks I took it, were horrific - bronchitis, thrush in the mouth, swollen throat, leg cramps, violent aggressive nightmares

Has anyone experienced low peak flow after using Revla Elipta?
My consultant suggested I change from Seretide to Revla Elipta three months ago. My peak flow dropped right away and has remained lower than I would like ie about 200 if I'm lucky, slightly under if not. I mentioned this to the respiratory physio who encouraged me to keep going with it as the Seretide
