Blood Test Results - Any advice would be appreciated
Hi again, I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism following a blood test on the 14th April. I started taking WP Thyroid on the 7th June and I am currently taking 3 grains. I had a followup blood test on the 21st July and I have included the results of both blood tests below. There has been an improvement

Do you take supplements altogether?
Are there any supplements that shouldn't be taken at the same time? I take B12, B complex, D3, K2, magnesium, selenium + zinc, Vit c, ferrous fumerate, Bio kult. Not all daily, but I probably should do, I'm just unsure if you can take them altogether.

From hypothyroid to hyperthyroid?... Confused!
Hi everyone. I have been Hypothyroid for 10 years, currently on 100mg Levothyroxine. Whilst taking this medication, I've been confused why I still had the symptoms. Those being feeling cold, (I wear more layers than people around me), feeling tired all the time, brain fog, can't remember things, aches

I take D3, B12, vitC, ferritin, k2, b complex, but still I have bad pains and stiffness. Is it worth trying Zinc, magnesium and selenium? If so which ones and doses? Thanks in advance

Only recently diagnosed as hypo 11 days ago and on 25mg of levo a day (TSH 9.8 and T4free 0.93 (0.70 - 2.0 ng/dl)). Dr also said to take vit B12 as blood test was 345 (180 - 850 range per lab, but Dr said should be minimum of 400) and magnesium as I am deficient, result 1.74 (1.9 - 2.8), but also suggested

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Zyflamend
lukedohner asked about Zyflamend & suddenly, I am briefly at the other end of the alphabet. First, I need to say something about Dr. Aaron Katz, who has conducted studies using Zyflamend. Katz used to be at the Columbia University Center for Holistic Urology. In 2007, he made a video [1] in which he

Got my results now, advice much appreciated!
Hello!I finally got my private blood results, just not the Reverse T3 as apparently that takes 14 working days?? I was wondering if anyone could comment on them for me? My main concerns was that even though my results look "normal" I still feel exhausted at all times. But more major than that is trying

Desperate for some advice please
I was originally found to have Hashimoto's 6 years ago. My TSH has bounced about ever since between 3.65 and 5.2. I have seen 3 GPs over that time at our Practice and under UK guidelines none will prescribe levothyroxine and can offer no advice on how to deal with this apart from one suggesting HRt might

Hi, I posted last week about my TSH rising from 3.18 in March to 6.28 now, although the 2 Nd test was done at 7.15, a private pinprick one. I'm 3 months into b12 injections, have taken iron again recently to get my low level up to 80's, folate seems to be OK after briefly supplementing? And although

Canola oil or Selenium
Does Canola oil cause PCa cells to grow? Would selenium in 1 in 8 PCa survivors cause PCa cells to grow?

Tomato-based randomized controlled trial
New Norwegian study below. It's one of those small-populaton 3-week pre-surgery intervention studies that are useful for building hypotheses, but don't really prove much. In this case, 79 participants split between two arms & controls: "1) tomato products containing 30 mg lycopene per day" "2) tomato

B12, D3, ferritin, ferrous, zinc etc
Does anyone know please when it was discovered that the levels of B12, D3, ferritin etc. matter and assist thyroid hormones to get to the right place? Also selenium, zinc, vit C, magnesium? is there a medical paper available regarding these vits and minerals needed for the thyroid?
