Anyone been diagnosed with endometriosis then told they don't?
I'm more confused than ever now. I had my second lap 3 weeks ago, with a BSGE surgeon, before that I had a lap with a locum gyne in 2015. In between a horrific c section done by a inexperienced registrar. In the surgery notes it is recorded that possible endometriosis and or scar tissue is seen. In

Help !with seeing a specialist
Hi there I wondered if you could help I saw my general gyn again today he said what would you like me to do I said refer me to a specialist for a lap so he starts writing up paper work and it looks like it’s diagnostic where they open you up it does say treatment of endo but I thought general gynaecology

Induction not working so far
Hi guys I’m 40+6, FTM and was admitted to hospital at 40+4 after a scan showed low amniotic fluid around baby. They wanted to start induction process straight away and I’ve to stay in until baby is born for lots of monitoring. So far they gave me a 24 hour pessary which did start mild contractions,

Low lying placenta
Hello and Happy New Year! I’m almost 22 weeks now and during my 20w scan I was told my placenta was low lying. I’m now booked in to do another scan at 32w and see a consultant to discuss birth options. If the placenta doesn’t move up by then, I’ll need a C section. No news for us, we’ve had a few private

Very light bleeding 3 months after stopping prostap injection
Hiya everyone 🙂 I had my last prostap injection 3 months ago now. I had my first proper period since stopping in November. About a week ago now, I started experiencing symptoms that told me my period was due. I noticed when I wiped that there was fresh blood, so I just assumed that it was the start

Horrid bloating 3 weeks after laparoscopy
Hello- hope it's a good day for you all. I had lap surgery on 16th december. No endo found but had scar tissue removed under c-section and appendix scars. My question is- is it normal to be bloated badly 3 weeks after surgery? I'm quite fit and was told that I'd be able to exercise (low impact) around

Not sure what to do with changing medication
Hi, I appreciate that I can't get any medical advice here but would like others opinions. I am currently pregnant and likely to have a c-section at the end of March. I was diagnosed with RA in September and started on Sulfasalzine and Hydroxychloroquine. Unfortunately these don't seem to have worked

Best back/tummy support belt postpartum? Is 11 weeks pp too late to get one?
Hi guys, Just wanted some advice, my back has been in agony lately and I know it’s from all the changes after having a baby then having to pick up baby etc, not to mention this after having a c-section. But was wondering if anyone had tried any support belts and if they worked?! Also if it’s too late

C section scar / incisional / secondary endometriosis and having a second baby?
Hi all, I've recently been diagnosed with incisional endometriosis (endo on my c section scar following a c section 3.5 years ago). I opted against having surgery to explore/diagnose/remove it as didn't want to unless absolutely necessary. However we're talking about trying for a second baby and I'm

Experiences of Depo-Provera? Prostrap injections and HRT?
Hi. I had my 1st lap around 3 months ago. Was diagnosed with moderate endo. Was treated during the lap but it's not helped my pain at all. I'm on the combined pill which has helped but I can only bi cycle due to breakthrough bleeding etc. Surgeon said that it may be worth me trying prostap injections

Endo bowel surgery and dissection.
Hey, I am new to this. I have been diagnosed with endometrioses now for around 8 years. I have had two previous surgeries, prostap injections in my stomach for 6 month which put me on the menopause to slow the growth down as mines fast growing. Numerous contraception's. So much pain relief but nothing

Hi everyone, I am due to have my second prostap on wednesday, it's not going to happen, I have had 4 weeks of sheer hell on this. 4th lap-no endo-don't understand
Hello ladies. Hope you're all having one of your better days. I'm just recovering after my 4th very thorough lap showing NO endo which both my consultant and I are utterly shocked at given my symptoms and past. He also performed a hysteroscopy- sample away for testing but he said the lining of my womb

Couchto5k is a godsend
So iv had a strange two years in regards to my health and fitness. I became quite obese and was diagnoses with type two diabetes at age 29, this kicked me into gear and I lost a lot of weight, and fell pregnant(.my weight had previously hindered this) so my weight continued to fall through my pregnancy

Endometrioma
So after a very long journey, I finally had my MRI scan (after it being cancelled twice due to problems at the hospital). It shows a large endometrioma on my c section scar. I have an appointment with my consultant on Tuesday. Does this mean surgery? Anyone else had this, I'm curious of the treatments
