Best back/tummy support belt postpartum? Is 11 weeks pp too late to get one?

Hi guys,

Just wanted some advice, my back has been in agony lately and I know it’s from all the changes after having a baby then having to pick up baby etc, not to mention this after having a c-section. But was wondering if anyone had tried any support belts and if they worked?! Also if it’s too late to try one 11 weeks postpartum, I got recommended to try one earlier but my back wasn’t that bad! Wish I’d just tried earlier then maybe wouldn’t be in the pickle haha.

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks 😊💖x

So frustrating isn’t it! I got recommended the Mamaway support one but it’s pricey and I want to know if it works before I buy or if there’s a better one! Worried I’m too late in getting one 😫. How are you coping xx

Hi! I see our boys have been born a week apart 😍.

I had a planned c-section on 16th October, but had to anticipate to the 9th because baby was not growing as he should and they suspected the placenta had stopped working properly.

Your boy is absolutely amazing! Beautiful! 😍

For the back problems, I try to don’t do much all together, and take a rest (sitting on the sofa) every 15/20 minutes with cushions behind my back. And trying to often change position during the night.

Walking it’s also helpful, when I go out for groceries or other little things, or just to have a coffee with a friend, I feel so much better. But Glasgow weather doesn’t help 😂

Omg that’s so cool, tommy was born on the 16th! He was due the 20th but I was induced a week earlier due to him being large for gestational age, not as big as they thought but I still had a tough labour😫. How’s your little boy getting on?!

Aw thank you! Your little boy looks beautiful 😍!

Ahh see I’ve been walking and taking breaks with pillows around me but still seem to struggle! Haven’t been out walking much due to rainy weather here, I live close to Durham so it’s always wet and cold 🤣! Do you get numb legs in the night?! My back seems to cramp and wake me up and my legs go numb 🤦🏼‍♀️So frustrating xx
