Prostap for the first time
Hi Everyone, I’m hoping someone can help me. I feel like I’m finally getting somewhere with regards to my treatment which I’m very positive about but I’m having the 3 month prostap injection and wondered how anyone was with it? Did it help the pain and bleeding? We’re your side effects bareable? Do you

Prostap how will it effect me?
Hi everyone, after my most recent appointment my consultant has requested that I try prostap injections for 6 months and then he will put me on a list for a hysterectomy if my endo pain and bleeding returns. I can't believe after this extremely long journey that my husband and I have finally brought home our little miracle, her name is Lyra born by emergency c section 18th August, she didn't want to wait for normal birth. The support from everyone here has been priceless and couldn't have got through it

First Lap, no endo visible.
Hey guys, me again. Long post incoming.. I had my first 'diagnostic laparoscopy' today 13th Aug and as stated in my previous post I was worried they wouldn't find anything because of being on the Prostap injection for 6 months and not having a flare up since November 2020 and period since May 2021.

Hi all, my disease confuses me and I still don’t understand it. Can you help advise or respond with your experience? From my last MRI in January, I have stage 4 ‘bilateral ovarian’ Endo and ‘hydrosalpinges’ with uterine adenomyosis, I have what is called a ‘bulky uterus’, my pouch of Douglas is obliterated

Why isn’t body identical progesterone (Utrogestan) used to treat endometriosis? Surely it could help & less side effects than synthetic.
I’ve been wondering about this for a while. With the theory being that oestrogen stimulates endometriosis and progesterone suppresses it, why have I only ever been put on synthetic forms of progesterone? I’ve been on the contraceptive pill, depot provera, Mirena coil and Prostap injections. All of them

First Lap after Prostap Injections.
Hey guys, I'm due my first Lap on Friday 13th August and I'm a little worried they won't find anything as I had been on Prostap for 6 months (2x the 3 monthly injections). I came off this in May, I had a period 2 days afterwards but nothing since - not a flare up which I usually get the week before

Gnrh injection reactions
Hi just after some advice and to see if anyone else has had this problem before. Had my second 3 monthly dose of prostap yesterday. The doctor who administered the injection wasn't my usual, I usually see the nurse. To start with she could not get the powder to melt in the syringe, then she couldn't

Small fiber neuropathy?
I went to a neurologist yesterday to see why I keep going numb in various places. He did a non needle EMG test and he said my nerves are fine. But I still have numb, burning feet, and numb sensations from my c-section site up and down. I asked about getting further testing to prove I have pernicious

Have others had problems with endometriosis returning as soon as prostap wears off?
Since prostap wore off terrible hot flushes and nightly endometriosis pain. It’s completely ruining my sleep finding it hard to cope with the pain. I’m under Gynacology and due a hysterectomy, however due to the covid situation I feel very forgotten about. I’ve spoken with my GP to get a letter written

Chemical menopause + heatwave = not fun!
Anyone else on Prostap or similar feel like they’re melting in this heat 😂 🥵 even on HRT the hot flushes aren’t as bad but still get very hot and bothered even without this heatwave!! Just wanted to rant because even going into the office with a fan is hell because of no aircon. I just want to sleep

15 days post c section: intestinal cramps and diarrhoea- anyone?
Hello ladies, First of all apologies for the TMI…I’ve had a c section 17 days ago and for the last 3 days I’ve been having terrible intestinal cramps with bouts of loose stools/diarrhoea….was wondering if it’s part of the recovery? Has this happened to any of you? After the section I was on antibiotics

*Sensitive post* IVF, Low lying placenta, Vasa Previa & The birth of our beautiful baby girl..
Last time I posted here was 5 months ago after my 16th week gender scan. Probably one of the happiest days of my life but since then we’ve faced & crossed so many hurdles with our baby-girl. After a successful 1st round of IVF I was told that I have a low-lying placenta at the 20w scan “not uncommon”

Is anyone on Endometriosis treatment taking supplements for IVF egg quality?
Hi All, I’m looking to start a new IVF cycle after taking a break following 2 unsuccessful cycles a few years ago. I suffer from endometriosis and currently on Decapeptyl SR 3mg and Tibolone. My previous failed IVF cycles were due to poor quality eggs which resulted in no pregnancies. After reading

C-section
I’m seriously dreading having a c-section. It has completely ruined my last weeks of pregnancy. We found out our son is breech after being told up until week 36 he’s cephalic. I’m depressed, crying, really upset and really struggling to see the light side, that we’ll have our son at the end of it.
