Trouble adjusting
I was told I would have to meet with my dermatologist every three months for a year or so to monitor my skin for new growths, which I soon found out would mean acquiring more tiny
scars
every time a biopsy was taken.

Advice- scar removal surgeries
I have
scars
on my arm from self harming over 10 years ago now. As an adult, having this horrible memory on my body, staring me in the face every day makes me feel very uncomfortable and if there was any way I could get rid of them, it would literally transform my life.

Radiofrequency ablation NHS
Developed in Korea, this treatment is widespread there as it is more aesthetically pleasing than surgical
scars
. With an aging population, there is less risk than surgery. So..yesterday I was given local anaesthetic in the thyroid area and then treatment performed by guided ultrasound.

Happy Wednesday
Not doing to much sunning myself first few days as it does irritate the
scars
, I intend to walk early mornings as where we are there are a number of hills that need exploring. My wife is detailed with the 'that's far enough for today' instructions.

Baby's poop
Hi! I now have a week old little girl 😊 She is breastfeeding / topped up with formula if she needs it. She hasn't had a poo since Monday. Was just wondering if anyone has any ideas to help encourage it? We've tried massage, baths, winding before/during and after feeds, lying her on her tummy on

Evidence for supplements?
I suppose the title of the post says it really! Like everybody else, I spend lots of money on NAC, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Co-enzyme Q10, Resveratrol etc etc. I'm about 2 years in and feel okay but the disease is progressing slowly despite all of my strategies. Therefore, I ask myself, is there any point

Hashimoto's and yellow tinge on face only?
:( I underwent dermapen sessions to heal my acne
scars
, not sure if they are responsible, well, they can't be, they were made to improve the skin. I have dermatographism, which will make my skin red, but it does not change the colour of the skin according to my research.

It's been a while!
I'm sharing some of this bc others might find my story helpful. After spending a year reacting to mylan levo and synthroid I was given tirosint. Thyroid meds were the only thing I was taking. Emotionally upset with infertility treatments
The
scars
have been more mental than physical. We have been through 4 failed IVF attempts, considered adoption and when nothing has worked, we are now seriously into surrogacy. But I am unable to come to terms with it. Are these natural, donor eggs and labs and tests and another mother for my baby?
