Has anyone had a lobectomy?
How was it and how was the recovery? I'm new here and have a long-term undiagnosed lung abscess that hasn't responded to any treatments. It isn't cancerous (thank goodness!), but all the tests and procedures I have taken have come back negative. My consultant has advised me that, as there is little left

Circumcision Questions
My largest concern is the scar line, do you guys have any tips for minimizing
scars
and/or what did your doctor say? I am worried about the 'zipper' look, and having to go back in for a scar line procedure. Did you have a 2nd circumcision done to help with the scarring? 3.

Just one more for the road.
over that last several years i have been getting worse. the
scars
are accumulating. and i have concluded that by trying to connect with others, a strategy that should help with this, i just end up with less wherewithal for myself in these darkest of times.

Horrid bloating 3 weeks after laparoscopy
No endo found but had scar tissue removed under c-section and appendix
scars
. My question is- is it normal to be bloated badly 3 weeks after surgery? I'm quite fit and was told that I'd be able to exercise (low impact) around now so have started doing so (it's a struggle!).

Spider veins on feet
If you read my post before I had elevated bloods that returned to normal, a US that stated completely healthy liver no fat no
scars
but I still have these veins popping up. I’m not looking for a definite answer but instead some perspective.

cataract surgery & epiretinal membrane
I have to decide whether to have cataract surgery which might cause complications for the epiretinal membrane on the macular in both my eyes. I am keen to hear any other experience of this - (1) what factors to think about in deciding and (2) what the effect of surgery has had on the epiretinal membrane

Team tracks integrin's role in lung function.
Beta-1 integrin, a critical component of epithelial extracellular matrix receptors, is essential for normal lung function in adulthood, researchers at Vanderbilt University Medical Center have discovered. Low muscle mass
Hi, I have been on a set dose that is as optimal as can be expected - for approx 2 years. Levaxin 150 mcg Liotyronin 5 mcg (+an extra 5 mcg once in a while, when my pulse goes down to mid-50s). My question is if anyone else has low muscle mass, and difficulty increasing muscle mass? Does anyone know

Endometriosis - chances of reccurence?
I recently had a laparoscopy where scar tissue was removed and a biopsy has confirmed that I have Endometriosis. I've not yet had my follow up appointment but was wondering what experience that people have had with the recurrence of their symptoms after a laparoscopy? I had mine 2 months ago and have

I've been suffering with excruciating pain since I was 11 - 15 years later I was finally diagnosed with Endometriosis following laparoscopy
But why was I discharged? I was left following the surgery (which I also had treatment to the scar tissue, they burnt / surgically removed any scar tissue) by being told 'The coil will help.' I'd already had the coil for two years by this point, which I told the consultant but she wouldn't listen - she

Despair
But how can I go down that route as it’s a totally selfish act leaving my children with mental
scars
for the rest of their lives. I just feel in a stagnant and static place. I can just sit at home feeling sorry for myself or do something about it, but I cannot seem to do anything about anything.
