Last one finally touched up the
scars
that had “failed” - so the afib seems to be gone. But they couldn’t trigger my tachycardia during the ablation. And annoyingly, the tachycardia is much more frequent (daily) than it was before the last ablation.

L5 S1 fusion, laminectomy and bilateral foraminotomy
I am coming up on 3 months post op. I go to therapy 2 x a week and can walk moderately for 15-30 minutes a day but every time I think I am making progress as far as being pain free I have a bad spell needing meds, ice and heat again. I am 60 and may just be slow to heal?

Mitochondrial uncoupling ; can this help PD, appears maybe
“Apoptosis induced by MPP+ was ameliorated by NTZ in a dose-dependent manner. In vivo results demonstrated that oral administration of NTZ (50 mg/kg) in an acute MPTP mouse model of PD conferred significant protection against the loss of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH)-positive neurons of substantia nigra.

Belly button sensation 6 months after endometriosis removal
Hi, I had very minimal stage 1 endometriosis removed in October 2021. Doctors didn’t think they would find anything but did. I had been experiencing 2 weeks worth of spotting before my period for 3 years. Since my operation I have been having a strange sensation in my belly button that still hasn’t gone

Wounds healing after laparoscopy, please help again! 💓
Hello everyone, I am in a panick about wounds healing from laparoscopy. The wounds are all healing in different ways. I have tried to speak to the hospital and GP but both referred me to the other. I have tried a few other routes but aren't getting anywhere so I really hope someone here may have some

Surgery but without general anesthesia due to PD
I’m Wondering if anyone has had a surgery that usually requires general anesthesia but instead with just local anesthesia? Due to PD, I really do not want to be “put under.” Hard to share this but I am inquiring with doctors soon and would appreciate advice. My online search for this did not turn

I have talked to my doctor and he told me to use vitamin E cream for the raised
scars
, I’ve been using it for around 2 months now, I got a bit better but still not enough.

Is Getting Dismissed as a Patient an Embarrassment or Rite of Passage?
Is Getting Dismissed as a Patient an Embarrassment or Rite of Passage? I wasn't being rude. In the lobby waiting to be seen by my surgeon another patient was recording her "plastic surgery journey" as the Ear Nose Throat surgeons also do the cosmetic surgeries. As a cancer patient, I'm not comfortable

Developing Myocarditis from the covid vaccine
I am now left in a limbo of
scars
on my heart, fatigue, arrythmia, painful chest after any exertion, can’t sleep lying flat in my bed (so use lots of pillows), struggling to keep up at my job as a teaching assistant and a mum of three children – basically a much reduced life quality.

Post Circumcision Care & Questions about masturbation, healing, crocodile skin, size & urination
Furthermore, I am 3 weeks post op and I still have the yellowish liquid coming from my
scars
(No foul smell or anything) When does this stop? I am only getting it from the top incision line. The sides and bottoms I am not seeing any liquid.

OTD and another BFN
I've been trying for over 16 years and all I have are
scars
from I can't even remember how many operations and the ashes of my beautiful daughter 😞. We have 1 frostie left, but I'm not even sure if we should give it one final shot with how difficult it is even to get to a transfer for me.

Gestational hypertension, induce?
I'm 37 weeks and recently I was diagnosed with gestational hypertension resulting in two hospital stays and tablets. I'm going for a scan monday and then seeing my consultant again thursday. If the tablets work they say I can keep on as I am. But they may want to induce me if they don't or induce me
