Post Circumcision Care & Questions about masturbation, healing, crocodile skin, size & urination

Just had a circumcission 3 weeks ago. I have a lot of questions I need help with.

I wanted to know if its normal for the head of the penis to slowly form like a crocodile skin. No pain or anything, if anything it helps with the sensitivity issue I was experiencing in the first 2 weeks post circumcision. Just wanted to know as soft it looks weird but while hard its like it isnt there.

Also, when do I know is the right time to masturbate again? Whenever I get erections I still feel the tightness and mild pain.

I realized that my size has decreased a lot vs pre op. Almost 2 inches on lenght and read on other posts that this is normal. What can I do to get this back and how do I know this isnt permanent?

Furthermore, I am 3 weeks post op and I still have the yellowish liquid coming from my scars (No foul smell or anything) When does this stop? I am only getting it from the top incision line. The sides and bottoms I am not seeing any liquid. I pull the skin back slightly to drain this on sterilized gauze everytime I need to pee.

Finally, when it comes to peeing its like I have a jet pee stream. I have always in the passed peed through my foreskin and pulled back to clean once I am done but now without foreskin my pee flies out with high pressure. Does your body automatically lower pressure eventually as I can not pee at a urinal without pee flying back in some form because of the pressure.

A lot to unpack but hope someone can answer some of my questions.

Had the circumcision 4 weeks ago. Generally any sexual activity is suggested to be at lest 4-6 weeks or whenever pain is gone. I couldn’t handle the abstinences at 21 days and had no pain so i did it by using a condom and gently stroking only the corona with lube to release the preassure. All went fine, however i think it was a little too early still to suggest to anyone else. See how long you can wait. Regarding the peeing, i had (and still have) a high preassure pee stream. I couldn’t pull back the foreskin at all pre op so could be the reason in my case, but i think it’s normal

It’s easy for me to say, especially as i couldn’t manage to handle the abstinences myself, but do everything you can to wait at least 4 weeks. If you get any pain or feel uncomfortable afterwards, you will have to wait even longer remember ;)If/when you do decide to give it a shot (no pun intended), i would suggest using a condom, and preferably a larger one than usual to prevent extra pressure in the wounds inside and incision line. You can use one hand to keep the condom in place on the head while using the other to gently stroke the corona. It’s not a sexy method, but safety is important the first weeks

Have you seen a doctor recently? I had the yellow discharge both on the frenulum (had it lengthened too) and later at the bottom part of the incision line (wasn’t as yellow). The frenulum was infection and caused urinary tract infection too. I got pills (3 times a day in a week) and after two weeks it was all gone. The one at the bottom incision line is almost all fine by now so i think that wasn’t a problem. If you haven’t seen a doctor recently, i would highly suggest you do so. Maybe nothing needs to be done, but if it is an infection, it will postpone the healing process and result the longer you wait. The doctor will be able to graft what bacteria causes it (if there is any) and grant you the correct pills for it

I havent seen a doctor recently but this liquid has been leaking for the past 2/3 weeks and my urologist said this is a normal part of tbe healing process. I will check in with him again just to be sure.

Also did you also have any difference is erect size after the surgery?

It might be all normal, but a lookup is a very good idea just to make sure. Nobody knows for sure without the lookup after all. Erect size, i actually grew. However, i think it is mainly due to my foreskin which was quite tight pre op probably causing a more narrow space under foreskin preventing the shaft and head to grow to its actual full capacity before. That’s just a personal theory though. Everybodys healing is different though so dont be afraid. Here too, the doctor will be able to confirm all is good.

Feel free to ask me if you got any more questions mate

The yellowish liquid from the scar is usually plasma. That’s normal when you have had surgery and your body is still healing. This kind of procedure takes time to heal. Even though externally the skin may have bonded, internally the healing is still underway. the nerves which were cut off are still rebuilding and the inside of the skin tissues are still repairing and slowly bonding to the internal body tissues.

So don’t be in a rush to masturbate. Let your body heal. Usually 5-7 weeks after surgery is a good time to try masturbating. But be gentle. You now have to rediscover how to best masturbate - since you now have some anatomical change. You now don’t have foreskin to slide up and down. So not yank your shaft up and down. Use a lubricant and tube the penile shaft and the head (glans). For penetrative sex it’s good to wait approx 8-9 weeks.

As your penis is healing your skin on thr glad are also transforming since the glans are covered and constantly being lubricate now. Hence you see the cracks on the skin and this may cause you to lose some layers of skin and also get a more permanent dry skin texture on the newly exposed part of the penis.

The right way to pee usually is to peel back the foreskin a little and expose the front of the glans (head) to urinate. This allows a steady clean straight stream to emerge. And most people know how to regulate the flow of urine. Most of it happens subconsciously by your body. If you don’t already know that your body will adjust and things will rationalize over time.

Regarding the tightness - is it tightness around the scar or because your shaft skin is getting stretched (you can see the base of your penis and see the skin getting stretched pulled upwards). If it’s the scar that’s feeling the tightness it will get better as the body adjusts and rebuilds. Sometimes the inside skin tissues adhere at thr wrong spot and need to adjust to the varying length of your penis. However, if it’s the external shaft skin and you see the base of the shaft skin pulling upwards it’s probably cause your doctor has done a tight circumcision which can be a good thing - but will need some mental adjustment by you. If you like to known more DM me and I can guide you on it.

Be patient as your body heals.

Thank you for your reply. This has given me a lot of insights.

In regards to type of Circumcision I got, what I am experiencing is the following:

When I get erect, the area where stiches were put on the top side hurts slightly (less and less everyday) and as you said on the base of the penis, I am seeing the skin pull up once I go hard. Does this mean long term the area needs to stretch to slowly bring back my lenght?

I send you a DM as well to get more info as well. Thanks again 💪
