Hello, it’s been almost 11 months after circumcision. Up till now I still experience scar problems, first off the pink part of my penis is raised compared to my foreskin . Secondly, I still have bumps around the incision line which kinda bothers when I masturbate. Thirdly, the incision scar around the penis is a bit painful and uncomfortable when I try to rub it or masturbate, it gets slightly better when I use a lot of lube. I have talked to my doctor and he told me to use vitamin E cream for the raised scars, I’ve been using it for around 2 months now, I got a bit better but still not enough. Im wondering if anyone have similar problems or can have some advice that can help me as Im afraid this is permanent and can’t be solved.

You probably hear it alot but time is the main healer scars do take a year or two at least to fade and loosen up.jus keep using coconut oil to keep it loose and bio oil fades scars or vitamin E oil.im going through similar thing and its a testing time but be patient im searching for answers too
I have used Contractubex gel for four months twice a day and my scar line is totally smooth and also soft now. Maybe worth trying. It has clinical evidence to support it.
I had the same issue untill my doctor told me to message the scar line everytime i go to the bathtoom or when i have time to... I am 7 months in now and the lumbs is gone just use bio oil twise a day and message the lumbs it will definitely help a lot
Hey, could I ask when you started using the oil? I’m day 23, still one or two stitches in (most fell out in the last 4 days) new swelling has started in areas. Asked my doc but they won’t see you in the UK so was just over the phone. Can’t speak to the urologist either. Anyway put me on antibiotics again.
Just wondering when’s best to start the oil process thanks!

I hope it will get better. Scar will develop 12-18 months post op at least.
