I give up
So I decided I'd had enough of breathing
salbutamol
through my spacer every waking moment and coughing constantly and forked out £100 for an air purifier today. And it has done nothing as of yet.

Inhalers and heart rate
I need Ventolin (
salbutamol
) pretty often, but I hate the fact that it makes my heart beat fast. Any thoughts?

Anti-acrolein scavengers such as hydralazine - Another drug that lowers BP - could be used to treat PD
Salbutamol
(also known as albuterol) could reduce the risk of Parkinson’s disease by half. It acts by a different mechanism than hydralazine – but reduces alpha-synuclein accumulation 4.

6 Weeks After Treatment - Is This Asthma?
I was placed on
Salbutamol
and Clenil 100 (2 puffs at the start and end of the day) What I have noticed now is this... 1.) My peak flow hasn't risen, but it's stabilised. I used to be all over the shop (420-600) and since starting treatment I haven't dipped below 550.

COPD and lung cancer
hello guys I'm new to this group I have had COPD for several years and used different types of inhaler including Spiriva,Seretide 100 and
salbutamol
. I don't know if any of them actually work cause I don't feel any different after using them.

Salbutamol or Hydralazine or both to use in our epic fight.. :)
“Evidence suggests that
salbutamol
acts by a different mechanism than hydralazine — that is, by reducing alpha-synuclein accumulation — and thus perhaps
salbutamol
and an acrolein-scavenging drug could be used together to achieve an even greater therapeutic effect,” Rochet hypothesized....

Broken peak flow monitor?
I’ve also gone from needing
salbutamol
pretty much every day to being virtually symptom-free. Obviously this has all been very welcome and I’ve taken it as a sign that the new dose is working and my control is improving.

Albuterol and other drugs, all I want to do is save lives or a least make them better!
Have you ever been to the doctor and had a breathing test and pass it with flying colors but the doctor still wanted to give you Albuterol and take the test again, why? The doctors tried that on my husband and I but I told him I'm not taking that S**t and when he tried to do the same thing to my husband

First sign of warm weather this week and my lungs are burning and taking extra
Salbutamol
yet the hospital won't put me on Xolair as my FEV1 is slightly above 80%. My PF never budges below 570 no matter how ill I feel.

28 year old w/ emphysema
I got diagnosed with emphysema at 28. I have asthma and allergies. I've had issues breathing and used Albuterol but didn't have a clue what was feeling like a vice grips on my chest. Anyone have experienced with emphysema COPD under 30? My life expectancy can't be good getting it this young and not

My first post and need advice please
He said I had COPD and sent me for a chest X-ray and just prescribed the blue inhaler (
Salbutamol
/Ventolin) and told me to make an appointment with the practice nurse to learn how to use it. Bearing in mind that at this stage I had no trouble breathing but was just exhausted from all the coughing.
