Keep out of the sun
The only way to breathe easily keep well out of the sun. Don’t smoke using Nebuliser , I’m on Trimbow at the moment def works better the use Salbutamol couple of puffs, Try few exercises with very light weights I’d do I’m not as bad as before. Of course I get breathless that will never go, that’s because

Post attack advice please
When I was there i had 3 lots of
ipratropium
and
salbutamol
nebs over a period of a few hours. They kept a good eye on me eventually let me home at 2am. So for a few hours after, I felt really quite sick. Is this normal?

Advice for difficult asthma?
As ever, when I’m looking for advice I always reach out to this community.... My asthma is proving to be really difficult to treat and for the first time, it’s getting me feeling a little worried. (When I say worried, I’m not anxious or winding myself up with stress, it’s more me realising that it’

Fostair 200 Dummy...
Following a CT scan, in May this year, I was diagnosed with Late Onset Asthma (very late - as I’m 73 years old...LOl). After an initial bombardment of Prednisone, Qvar 100 and Salbutamol, things eased a little however, the breathlessness, persistent tight band around the rib cage along with a little

Feeling a bit rubbish
Today I had an appointment with my asthma nurse. I’ve already had a few appointments with her this year due to inhalers changing etc but today was for a check up because I’ve been trying to stop a flare from flaring (if that makes sense?) Anyway, I have a great relationship with my asthma nurse (she

Pulmonary function test and race
Hi. I recently found my pulmonary function test from last year. For the first time I noticed two errors. One was my race which said Caucasian and I’m not and second it said I used albuterol nebulizer to test reversibility and I actually made a mistake and took spiriva. My allergist knew I made a mistake

Nebuliser
Hi all. My asthma has been really bad for 5 weeks now. Hospital admission for a week. Back on high dose steroids after a 2 day break. I saw my gp yesterday and she said to increase nebulisers. I was having 5ml salbutamol every 4 hours including through night. And 3 atrovent daily. Plus symbicort

Salbutamol inhalers and repeat prescriptions?
I've been asthmatic since childhood. I consider it well managed even if I need to use my Ventolin inhaler on top of my preventative Seretide one almost on a daily basis. I have various triggers from both extremes of weather, exercise, dust, allergens and traffic pollution. Today I've attended an asthma

HISTORY AND QUERIES OF LATE ONSET ASTHMA
Hi All, My history (sorry this is long). I'm 54 and have never had any asthma or allergy issues until Aug / Sept 2018. In Aug 2018 I started to sneeze a lot and when outside exercising afterwards was short of breath and trying to catch my breath (not all the time intermittently) . I thought I just

Salbutamol prescription problems.
Hello all - This is my first post, but have been lurking for awhile. I am having problems getting my Salbutamol repeat. I used to get two inhalers but this was flagged by pharmacist and I was called to an asthma review with Asthma nurse at my GP surgery. Unfortunately although part of this surgery

Just having a vent...
Apologies for the fact that I’m about to bore you but I just need to get some frustration off of my chest. I visited my GP today to get my Fostair changed to something different because I’m suffering with horrendous foot cramp, more so since doubling up. I also explained that I’m recovering from a

31/2 weeks since Nucala injection
Hi...well it started off pretty rough with vomiting and exhaustion but now I am breathing 90% better than before...it is amazing. I had not been able to leave my apartment for almost two months without using my rescue inhaler just to go a few blocks and then hurry back to use my nebulizer and be in

Help
Hi, I've just been reading your posts and I also have similar symptoms. Also, some of you have referred to CREST which is a term I first heard on this site recently. I've got a few other medical conditions which I never thought, and has never been mentioned by GP could be connected to my Raynauds. I've

asthma ... beta blockers, flecainide
I raised this issue a few years ago and I am repeating it in the hope that something has changed regarding meds.... I am back on flecainide and beta blockers (100mg and 1.25 mg respectively) - low doses. I don't remember exercise being so arduous nor do I remember my asthma being triggered so easily

A breathless week!
I haven’t had asthma symptoms for over 10 years, not currently on any daily inhalers and never experienced persistent breathlessness like this. Historically, my chest only wheezed when I was on a nebuliser or needed one there and then. A few days prior to the following, the base/back of both sides of

Pleurisy? Whatever it is, it's debilitating
I'm new to this site and have been reading as many threads as possible about pleurisy. My situation as briefly as possible: In late March was stricken out of the blue with right upper chest pain. Hard to breath, pain 9 out of 10, thought I was dying. The ran chest xrays, CT with contrast, blood tests
