Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Vitamin C - Oral
This is the other half of the vitamin C topic. (aka ascorbic acid; ascorbate) Oral vitamin C from food or supplements is mostly not associated with reduced PCa risk. Studies mostly looked at vitamin C intake & the risk of a future PCa diagnosis. Is there benefit after diagnosis? The vitamin C gurus

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Vitamin A (Retinol, Retinoic Acid [RA], Beta Carotene)
This is the first in a series of reviews of the PCa literature for foods & supplements. When I began looking at studies 12 years ago, I started with vitamin A, which I quickly discovered is not an easy topic. It goes on a bit, so for those who want the bottom line: do not supplement with vitamin A (

I already have retinA at home, wondering if I should use it.
about a year ago, way before my Dx, I bought retinA serum to treat my skin against the sun damage and the acne scars I had. I used it for a while on my face with a combination of vitamin C serum. All this bought on Ebay and without medical guidance I must say. I think we all heard about the promising

Anyone had a 2nd transplant?
Hi all, My wife is just about to be listed for her second liver transplant. She's had many treatments to reverse the rejection but none seem to have worked - in addition she's had multiple CMV infections, sepsis (not helped by being very immunosupressed....), and acute kidney injury. She is about 18

Sugar craving
Hi, I'm struggling with stupid sugar cravings. Are these related to being hypothyroid? I'm recently diagnosed and a week into 25mg of levo. I'm hoping its related but solvable once my medication is right?

Retinoic acid receptor–related orphan receptor γ (ROR-γ) & the Androgen Receptor (AR)
New study below [1]. Don't be put off by the title. When I decided to methodically go through the PubMed PCa literature 12 years ago, I began with vitamins. I can tell you that Vitamin A is the worst starting point. Expecting a single receptor for retinol. I discovered that there was a retinoic

ANA positive?
A little confused about my ANA test. Result says positive. Flag for abnormal. Reference interval - negative? Does tgis mean it's positive? BC my dr didn't explain and she just kind of brushed me off...again. Rashes still pop up randomly every day. And tired. So tired of being tired. : (

Need a Opinion
I am suffering from Diabetic condition for last eight years. I was reasonably controlling the situation with Metformin 1000 mg 1 tab and Diamicron MR 60 mg 2 tabs / day until last year. Currently my HBA1C is not within the required range, it is increasing from around 7 to around 8.4 ( last year) Otherwise
