Cystocele/Rectocele repair all done
I'm almost 6 weeks after my repair surgery. Recovery not to bad. First two weeks I was warned were crucial and told not to do anything except rest, which I did. Luckily we had hot sunny weather so I literally layed outside sunbathing in-between medication, meals and sleeping. No pain as I kept taking

Rectocele
is worse than cystocele. Suffering since January so not took too long. (UK). Declined pelvic exercises and pessaries and decided to get it all over and done with sooner rather than later.

Managing Pudendal Neuralgia pain
I have a long history of haemorrhoids and banding has failed twice.A year ago I had a Colonoscopy in response to rectal bleeding and banding was completed. At this point I would have expected my
Rectocele
to have been spotted but it wasn’t until I later had camera tests for symptoms of mild Gastritis

More support and awareness for women with POP(pelvic organ prolapses)
Did you know there are several types of POP:
rectocele
, uterine pop, cystocele, enterocele, intusseption, rectal prolapse? And many other issues that run along side them. Did you know it also happens to younger women. Please, let's get this out there and shout to be heard.

Movicol help (again!)
I have taken a sachet of Movicol every night for the past 7 years after a
rectocele
repair and hysterectomy. On top of the IBS I've suffered from for 30 years, the need to take Movicol is the bane of my life because it exacerbates the IBS symptoms.

Pain that worsens upon movement? And triggers longer episodes of pelvic pain if I’ve been lifting or especially walking anywhere.
Diagnosed with mild prolapse, cystocele and
rectocele
. Also IBS. However, a recent ultrasound didn’t show anything significant or new. My pain tends to flare up after walking or increased activity, for example mowing the lawn. Periods are very uncommon now as I no longer have Fallopian tubes.

Rectocele causing wind?
I was diagnosed with a "small"
rectocele
about 12 months ago when I was having a proctogram to investigate causes of obstructed defecation. In addition to the inability to pass motions effectively I get lots of wind - despite being very careful about how and what I eat.

Mum in extreme pain
For context, she has been diagnosed with a Stage 2
rectocele
and stage 1 uterine prolapse. The pain came on suddenly in July and has got steadily worse since then.

PNE Decompression surgery
Found my nerve was wrapped so tightly with scar tissue and varicose veins it indented my nerve and it was permanently damaged, PNE can cause prolapse and I had cystocele and
rectocele
, so bladder and rectum hung out for four years and no Doctor in Canada would do surgery because they said it would

Bowel prolapse or rectocele
My
rectocele
is now very obvious and getting worse. The wait for a gynaecologist appointment is at least 30 weeks. Meanwhile I find it too embarrassing to talk about it with husband, family or friends just because it's the bowel so I pretend there's nothing wrong.
