Update on Lansoprazole and Doxycycline
Woo hoo! I CAN take them at the same time. I have just spoken to the pharmacist who said it's ok. BUT, I can't take my AdCal until two hours later! She confirmed that it's to do with the calcium content. Thanks to everyone who took the trouble to reply to my earlier post. xx Moy

Prepectoral, immediate, direct to implant surgery
Hello, Has anyone had this type of mastectomy and immediate above the muscle reconstruction? I live in a small town in North Carolina and I am finding it hard to find a surgeon/patients who have had experience with this procedure. Thank you very much.

Hi I’m new 😁
Hi I’m 27 years old and was diagnosed with a high grade papillary carcinoma. I am a BrAc1 carrier also from my dads side. I had a double mastectomy in August and was told that was all I would need. However on removal of my breast tissue they found another lump at grade 3. I have now been told that that

Advice for K2 please
I know there have been posts about K2 but can`t remember what was said. My Rheumy has taken me off Adcal. I take Vit D but wonder what effect large doses of Adcal have had on my arteries. Where is the best place to get K2 if I decide I need it?

I truly appreciate the information and sharing on this page. I had cancer 12 years ago,, had a double mastectomy, removed the sential node. In October of 2017 I found a pea-sized lump under my right arm. Biopsy showed breast cancer had returned. Scan showed breast cancer in my liver, metastatic. My oncologist

Radiotherapy & second primary malignancies.
New study below. My prostatectomy [RP] of 14.5 years ago was not successful & so I had salvage radiation. I was told that there would be an increased risk of a second cancer - but not within the first 5 years. At that time I was not thinking beyond 5 years, & extra risk after 5 years was not a consideration

medical marijuana and COPD
I read an article on line that said medical marijuana reduces inflammation and provides better sleep. I am not to sure whether it was CBD (does not cause a high) or HTC ( causes a high. Does anyone have evidence or have tried it for your COPD?

Meeting with Radiation Oncologist to discuss treatments after persistent cancer after Radical Prostatectomy (RP) with PSA of 0.8 - Gleason 7
I had my meeting with my Radiation Oncologist (RO) to discuss my treatment plan now since I had the recurrence cancer after surgery with PSA 0.8. He had me meet him in his examining room, instead of his office so he could sit next to me and my wife. I thought that was unusual because I even asked if

gone forever?
I'll keep this first post simple. Had an MRI, discovered tumors. Biopsy showed majority of samples Gleasons 8 or 9 throughout prostate, including some small incursion into left seminal vesicle. First recommendation (I will have second opinion in 2 weeks) radical prostatectomy, including both nerve bundles

After surgery and now PSA 0.8 - what's next?
I am 61 years old, married for 2nd time for 21 years to a special woman who gave me 2 wonderful kids, now 17 & 19, and an adopted son from my first marriage who is now 33 and living with his girlfriend. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2018. I had been seeing my PSA numbers slowing rising
