I just discovered a likely RIGHT inguinal hernia (IH) on July 6, which comes after my March 17, 2020, laparoscopic da Vinci radical prostatectomy (RARP) and a follow-on July 2 Axumin Scan. I’m awaiting Axumin scan results from my Urology surgeon Dr. Ray Lance in Spokane, no later than a July 20 telehealth

Antihypertensive drugs & PCa-specific mortality
New study from Finland [1]. This topic has been raised before. "Antihypertensive drug use overall was associated with an increased risk of PCa-specific death (Pre-PCa: 1.21...). "With respect to the separate drug groups, angiotensin II type 1 receptor (ATr) blockers, were associated with improved survival

Ashwaganda and Hypothyroidism (after RAI)
Hello again dear helpful souls, Blood test for hypothyroisism (will post at end) was finally good 4 weeks ago. Maybe not “perfect” but huge progress after 2 years. But I was still very tired. Talked to my generalist, endo unreachable, and he suggested Ashwaganda. First 3 days I was less depressed,

Docetaxal is considered ineffective due to a rising PSA. 4 sessions completed a increase of 2.7 to 9.3 now leap frogging to a phase 1 trial
I am not sure how things accelerated to a phase one harpoon clinical trial. According to my oncologist, and my new prostate doc they believe based on the trouble some PSA increase it may be time to explore other options. I suggested 3 potential ideas that I had thought were possible options parp inhibitor

I'm 9 months post prostatectomy and the ED (and penile rehab) continues...
Hey gents. I'm new to Malecare (as of June 2020) and am looking forward to being part of this community of gay men who are prostate cancer survivors. My nerve-sparing, robotically-assisted radical prostatectomy was Sept, 2019. (80% of my right nerve bundle was spared, 100% spared on left.) Recovery was

Burning feet, tingling, cramp
Hi. I’m on 150mg Thyroxine a day and have been for about 10 years. I’m type 1 diabetic since childhood, epileptic and coeliac. My feet are so sore now I can’t walk. The diabetic nurse said it wasn’t neuropathy as I have a good pulse and reflexes. They burn on the balls of the feet after 10 minutes, then

Timing a blood test.....how critical?
I’ve just read an interesting thread about dosing for T3. I didn’t want to hijack the discussion so thought I’d start again and outline what I see as a problem with getting a combo dose right. Like many on here I have continuing and irritating issues with endos who regulate against TSH primarily and

Supplements for endometriosis, detoxification and immune health
Hi ladies, I thought I’d post as I’ve been experiencing some positive change lately and wanted to share what I’ve been doing in the hope that it could bring relief to more people. I’ve read lots on supplements and alternative medicine and from reading about Ayurveda I kind of came across very good supplements
