Prostap and swelling
I have had 5 injections so far, two on my right, three on my left and one more to go. I have noticed over the last week that the right side of my tummy is rather tender and swollen/raised, anyone else had this? Also, how soon after your final injection did your side effects stop? I would quite like

Prostap =periods but no pain!!
My Endo is being treated with Prostap and Livial HRT. Side effects have been minimal ( I'm 2months into the injection) I was told that the prostap would close my ovaries and stop my periods š¤. Well, I am still having my period, it is much lighter than my normal heavy flow, but now they are totally pain

Dr recommend hysterectomy. Advice on preparing?
So I saw the consultant today and he said given I am 41 that the best option for my ongoing pain is hysterectomy. Prostap was tried previously and made no difference. Pain is suspected to be adhesions, again, endo, again, and some seems rooted in the ovary I was left with after my last lap. Feels a

Hi everyone. My surgery is in just over 2 weeks time and am starting to get very nervous about recovery time and the op itself! I have stage 4 deep inviltrating endometriosis and adenomiosis. I have a cyst on my right ovary. I am currently taking prostap which has worked wonders and stopped most symptoms

Going for the prostap... I think..
Hiya.. I was diagnosed with endometriosis a few yrs ago during a laparoscopy. I've since had another lap and I go for the follow up on Friday. The consultant said there was still endometriosis on my bladder and bowel that he couldn't get without risking damage. I felt ok for a while but in the last

Update: 2 Months Since My Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy
And still no change. I wasnāt hoping for a miracle but I was expecting something to ease up a little. I had a consultation on Friday to talk about my next operation for the removal of fibroids. I learned they werenāt able to clear all the endometriosis because a large fibroid was obstructing access

Dry mouth
I had my first Prostap injection 2 weeks ago. The last couple of days Iāve had a dry tongue at the sides. I think this is a menopause symptom. Any advice on how to make it go away? Even water feels dry!

Any idea what's next?
Hi everyone. Endo confirmed last November - textbook symptoms. I'm due to have my first op sometime after September, in the mean time they've been trying to stop me from coming on. Contraceptive pills don't work, contraceptive injection has not worked, prostap is awful. Just wondered if anyone had any

Seeing NHS Consultant at Private hospital & symptoms worry
Probably a lot to take in here! I had a lap 2.5 yrs ago at a BSGE Centre, I was diagnosed as having pelvic congestion (ovary, vein and fallopian tube removed), endo in the Pouch of Douglas and adhesions all of which were removed. Prior to the op I had 3 months of ProStap which didn't do anything. The

What options do I have left?
So I had a laparoscopy to remove by helica stage 4 endo on my uterus, ovaries, cervix and pouch of Douglason as well as a chocolate cyst on my right ovary. At the same time they did a hysteroscopy to remove a āwhoppingā submucosal fibroid from my uterus. This was on 31/1/18. 10 days later I ended up
