Pregnancy after myomectomy
I’m currently 19+2 after myomectomy surgery back in September. I’m feeling increasingly anxious as my pregnancy continues. I’m booked in for a csection at 39 weeks as I’m at risk of uterine rupture. Im being scanned every 4 weeks as a precaution. I just feel a bit overwhelmed by it all. After going through

New diagnosis and terrified! Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis
High resolution CT confirms have idiopathic

fibrosis
. I’m generally well - some breathlessness on exertion which I put down to age (63) and being a bit overweight. To suddenly to told I have a life-shortening illness with no effective treatment, has come as a total shock.

Zoladex/Buserelin before IVF
Hi everyone, I'm currently on zoladex and going to be starting my first round of IVF shortly. I've been prescribed Buserelin for my IVF treatment but I'm a bit confused as it seems to do the same thing as the zoladex. Has anyone else had zoladex followed by Buserelin? They seem to both surpress the cycle

When to have a FET after failed fresh transfer.
Hi, after some advice if possible. My Fresh embryo transfer ended in a bfn but luckily I have two frozen :-) . I havnt had a natural bleed since. I went to the clinic today, being on day 33 (longest cycle I've ever has is 33 days) and they said I can start oestrogen tablets on day 1 of this cycle

Mirena coil/Hysteroscopy/Polypectomy
I’m 48 years old and been experiencing unusually heavy periods, severe cramping, passing clots etc for last 18+ months - much out of character. My periods have changed from every 28 days exactly to every 3 weeks and last for 7 days on average instead of the previous 3-5 days. I was referred to the gynaecologist

Bust cysts, fibroids, bulky uterus, hysteroscopy and lost my job 😭
Hiya don’t know if anyone can help or relate to this, first time posting but here goes! So I’ve been back and forth with the gp and hospital for the last 2 weeks. All started with agonising pain in my right side of tummy which sent me to hospital, I was prepped for surgery as they believed it was

Update of second round of IVF ❤️
Thought I would give a little update of our next round... So we have been on treatment for 3 weeks, I have been taking progynova pills, plus oestrogen patches, which I have been placing on my thighs.. they are sticky little buggers! Feels like a waxing strip when I have to remove it and use a new one

Full ovaries? Aching, bloating and niggles throughout Meriofert and Cetrotide. 2nd ivf cycle. Any similar experience??
Hey everyone. Brief synopsis - 2nd ivf cycle. First was not successful in that I only had 10 eggs retrieved, only of 3 which were able to go through and not even one successfully made it to blastocyst. Only 1 was transferred with a less than 5% chance of success as it was being attacked by outside cells

Progynova- am I taking the right thing?
Hello, looking for some advice if possible. I know no one should compare IVF cycles but I seem to be on a bit of a weird cycle from what I can tell. I'm doing IVF on the NHS and am on my first cycle. They told me to wait 21 days, then take progynova for ten days and then go for a scan. They haven't told

Anyone had success with day 3 embryo transfer?
Hi So I had 4 eggs taken yesterday, 3 fertilised. Doc is recommending day 3 transfer, I feel that’s because they won’t make it to day 5, waiting for a response to that question. Has anyone successfully got pregnant on a day 3 transfer? Thank-you

How can I stop my period
I’m on week three of my period!!! Last August I decided to stop getting the depo-provera shot as I’m now in a good spot for my life to start settling down and will want kids within the next two years! I was on the depo for 9 years so didn’t have to worry about a period through those years. The last
