Liquid e-cigarette flavorings measurably injure lungs.
Known for their appetizing flavors, such as bubblegum, banana and strawberry, e-cigarettes continue to grow in popularity around the world. Promoted by makers as a “healthy” alternative to regular tobacco cigarettes, researchers are finding e-cigarettes, or vaping, still result in injury to the lungs

Should I have a hysterectomy?
I have several fibroids and an enlarged uterus. My gynaecologist has offered two options: uterine artery embolisation or a hysterectomy, removing the only the uterus and leaving the cervix, ovaries and fallopian tubes. I am (nearly) 37 and do not want children. The fibroids were so bad, I had to be rushed

Second round 🤞🏽 Long protocol using buserelin throughout cycle
Yayy Booked in for my second round of IVF after first round sadly failed, due to high progesterone at egg collection. Different protocol this time...instead of short protocol, I’m starting a long protocol. Just wondering if anyone has had similar protocol or any experience stories or advise. Start norethisterone

Tests or another transfer? 4+ success stories anyone?
So I have a debrief appointment at clinic tomorrow to discuss what to do next after 3 x single frozen embryo transfer fails ( 1x chemical 2x BFN) The nurse today gave the impression that it would be likely just down to “bad luck”. I’m 33 (32 when embryos were made 10 months ago). Is it normal to have

Hey all. So I started my day one of buserelin injections yesterday (first of 32 to do) ready for a frozen embryo Transfer 🤞🏼Christmas week. I had. A chemical in august from my first ever round. Now I am petrified of doing this round. My partner had to persuade me into starting the jabs last night as

Nitrofurantoin and dizziness
I read online that long term use of this medication Can cause
pulmonary
fibrosis
and that dizziness is common. Has anyone else suffered with bad dizziness and vertigo while on the medication?

Supplement advice post transfer
Hello, I am hoping someone can give me advice, especially those who have been through 2ww before. Can supplements continue after embryo transfer? I know I can continue vitamin D and folic acid but it’s the inositol and omega 3 I am uncertain about so would appreciate any advice? X

11 days post embryo transfer & no bleeding ok?
11 days post embryo transfer and no bleeding - - is that ok? but boobs are swollen & sensitive to touch. Did a home pregnancy test which I know I shouldn’t have as probably too early on hcg levels in urine and result is negative. Beta blood test organised for 14 days post transfer so will find out either

Day 3 transfer of 2 embryos IVF
Hi. I've been told I can do a day 3 transfer of 2 embryos. I'm worried about the risks and complications that come with twin pregnancy. What should I do? 1 embryo or 2?

Scientists track down a protein that may add to lung damage in asthma and related diseases.
Patients with asthma, idiopathic
pulmonary
fibrosis
and systemic sclerosis suffer from fibrosis and tissue remodeling, where a build-up of tissue and immune cells, and proteins that form a glue-like substance, keep the airways from expanding.
