Weaning off Olanzapine
Hi everyone so I have been taking Olanzapine after I had a miscarriage and difficulties sleeping afterwards. It’s been over a year now and am trying to come off it as is made me gain over 12kg/26lbs. I also feel quiet good in myself besides the weight gain. I am currently taking 5mg but I want to stop

. Or I've become a creepy person you try to avoid. Or I turned into a serial killer or serial rapist. Or some other horrifying prospect. Then there's the second possibility: He's just plain nuts lol.

12 months later feeling better but can I have another baby?
The only trouble is that I had terrible post partum
psychosis
/OCD. 1 month after my baby was born, I had a terrible impulse to drop her off the stairs for no explicable reason. I had no voices and no I wasn't on drugs. I loved my baby and couldn't understand why I felt that way.

Weaning off meds
Hi everyone it has been a long and difficult journey since my sister was diagnosed with postpartum
psychosis
on Jan 2017. After different meds, 3 admissions to the psychiatric unit and about 13 sessions of ECT...my sister was finally stable and acting much like herself again since July 2017.

First meeting with midwife
I just met midwife for the first time (2nd baby), it seemed like she had many years of experience, but she did not know of postpartum
psychosis
. I’ll have to print out some APP guides and take them with me every time I meet with my healthcare providers, as I’m at risk.

Curious.
I suffer from both as well as other mental illnesses such as paranoia and occasional
psychosis
. I’m ashamed of my mental illnesses even though I believe, for others, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. I’m sure we all feel that way at times. Online it’s easy to talk about because no one knows me.

Anxiety leads to paranoia leads to psychosis.
Perhaps episodes of
psychosis
? A situation can happen that stresses me out and my anxiety will go crazy and next thing I know I’ll be up for days convinced that someone is trying to hurt me or hurt my dogs.

Impacts on children
What do fathers tell their children when their mother has had a baby and then suffers from severe mental illness? Do children visit their mother and sibling in an MBU? I suffered with PPP after the birth of my son, and he’ll be four years old when I expect to have my second later this year. I’m now thinking

Meet up groups
I also had another
psychosis
episode 2 months ago and social isolation is not good. I’m trying to look for meet up type groups. Mom groups I find intimatating and I’m not having any luck with meetup.com. I was part of a mental health group but it was too big and I found it not helpful. Any ideas?

Thoughts of an 18 year old
Last year was the first year I experienced
psychosis
and it was really rough. Now I'm really suicidal and cutting again. I try to find happiness in anything . I used to find happiness in drugs but not anymore. I can't even escape this when I sleep.

Can postpartum psychosis really take your life away?
How do you explain to people after you've done some outrageous things and how do you come back from it all...loss of confidence being the worst and no self esteem as I feel branded the crazy one now For the rest of my life...no job due to all of above.feeling very low today guys ...sorry!

How the VieLight 810 helped my husband
My husband's good results fromthe VieLight 810 I will preface this by saying that about one month before using the VieLight 810, he started on Seraquel, 25 mg. for
psychosis
. At that time, he was totally disoriented, wandering the house constantly, wearing diapers and couldn't sleep at all.

PPP after second baby
Hi, I got PPP after the birth of my second son in September 2011 out of the blue with no history of mental health problems. I've been to hell and back, sectioned multiple times, enforced ect and currently banned from seeing my children unless I am supervised by my ex husband or dad. Looking forward to

Anxiety or a rational fear
What if am exhibiting symptoms of
psychosis
and this will escalate and I will be a danger to myself or others. That is when I felt so dizzy and nauseous. This is hell Pure hell

My story
I believe I used to have bpd and now have
psychosis
but my psychiatrist doesn't listen to me. I had to make a complaint to get a second opinion. I'm feeling very anxious about this appointment as you can imagine. But fingers crossed I get a good outcome.
