Positivity for worried partners.
For all the worried and scared partners. I would like to let all the partners out there know that there is "a light at the end of the tunnel." My fiancée had PP when our little girl was 6 days old. I had never experienced anything like that in my life and yes I was scared, frightened, concerned, worried

Plus residual
psychosis
. I begged the doctor for an antidepressant but he said “you’re not depressed. All women are unstable, that’s all. Especially after they have babies”. My cat ran off, I got even worse. Another doctor, a woman.

First Time Here
“Hi my name is Angie and I have bipolar type 1 and anxiety and depression and PTSD and a drinking problem and a benzo problem and
psychosis
and epilepsy and well I need help..” “Welcome Angie” I know no one here is out to judge me but I feel like all eyes are on me. Like the world is out to get me.

I have read that it can change your mood, anger and
psychosis
. Has anyone experienced this type of situation? This is the side-effect that scares me the most. I have read posts from Hep C patients that were on it and it was a living nightmare. Please be honest. Thanks so much!

Finding It Difficult Dealing With Husband With Brain Damage At The Moment.
He suffered from
psychosis
and then his cognitive executive function was affected. At first they suspected he had temporal lobe dementia. Thankfully he has recovered really well over the past year - although he was terribly verbally abusive to me at times.

Things that make me feel better
Remembering how rude I was during my
psychosis
and laughing in a slightly dark manner. Like telling the nurses I wouldn’t eat the hospital food because it was S**t! Remembering with fondness some of the people I met on the general psych ward and laughing at their lack of giving a s**t.

Advice needed for 2nd pregnancy, undiagnosed psychosis?
would however welcome anyone’s advice on how I go about explaining the above this to the next set of health professionals that will be dealing with me in my second pregnancy as no one anywhere knows what me or my partner went through, and maybe advice on what I should be asking for if it was indeed

I'm thinking that there may be something up with my Thyroid, would welcome opinions and advice
This led to a one off episode of
psychosis
in June last year. I had two months of work, took medication for anxiety and was known to a psychology home treatment team. Since this time, I have seen a therapist weekly and really worked on the mental health symptoms.

Update
I’m possibly tipping over into
psychosis
again. I don’t feel like I am. But my care coordinator does. She’s got me in to see the psychiatrist on Monday but is concerned that I will get worse over the weekend.

SSRI induced psychosis?
After 4 weeks of awful withdrawal, she was back to her old self, free from any
psychosis
or depression. She had been diagnosed with psychotic depression and bipolar disorder - she refutes these diagnoses and is convinced the
psychosis
was caused by an adverse reaction to escitalopram.

Worried about further mental health complications
Hello everyone. I had my first daughter in 2016 and had accute PP following her birth. I was hypomanic for 4 weeks and then went into what I can only describe as a hallucinogenic comatose state from 4 weeks. Luckily it was caught and I recovered fast. I have just had my second daughter 4 months ago and
