Prostate Cancer (stage IV) identified in January and Small Cell Carcinoma (Neuro endocrine) in liver in August. Any suggestions?
In August,
PSA
test showed that
PSA
had dropped to 2.7 and there was decrease in size and PSMA avidity of Prostate lesion. But, PSMA PET CT in August found mildly PSMA avid lesion in liver, which was not seen in the PSMA PET CT five months back.

Prostatitis or PCA or both?
On levo, but still
PSA
is high 13 most recently. With levo sensitive to bacteria found, I thought my
PSA
should have come down by now. Could it be rare Pca? Anyone else with similar experience?

Aspirin trials
Good result so far with
PSA
at <0.01. Met with my Oncologist today and he said there were trials using aspirin as a potential drug to reduce potential recurrence.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve
I shoulda followed up the 4.7
PSA
in 2010 (probs PCa then), but didn't retest til 10/13/14 and y'all know that the
PSA
was 552.2, but F'in A - I made my 9 year Cancerversary with #stageivpca and still diggin Life💙. I would not have encountered the myriad of MDs, RNs, and PCa victims/Caregivers.

Post-prostatectomy cancer status + treatment
Scholz is saying, even if my
PSA
comes back undetectable, he suggests treatment (this is what adjuvant means). It doesn't matter what my first
PSA
reading is. 2. Dr.

Hi again, re: Cannabis/THC use for PC
Have there been any studies linking cannabis/THC to curative effects for PC or lowering
PSA
? Or is it just used for pain relief? Any studies on proven benefits beyond pain relief? Thanks so much. Ran across this study: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

Q & A with my husband's MO
That plus a steep rise in his
PSA
and the start of chemo really soon have us in a sober state of mind. Continuing to lean on Jesus for strength. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wXoa3LDjRUyZ4dE9wLJQAg32jRcEISF4v3KeSOT83gg/edit?usp=sharing

ARX517 and dry eyes
PSA
down and most lesions stopped growing. However he has recently developed severe dry eyes from the treatment. He is under the care of ophthalmologists now but so far the various drops and ointments aren't working. He was wondering if anyone else has had this side effect with the trial.

You did not mention any
PSA
or Gleason number. Not sure that would matter...but someone here might venture another opinion based on those numbers and If he is metastatic or not. We are all withyou!
