Eligard (Lupron) vs. Zoladex
The
PSA
went down from 2.25 to 0.18, and Testosterone went down to 23 from 1080. Why Eilgard not works and Zoladex work??? The are same drug which removes testosteron????? I thought Zoladex is used for women and Lupron works for men? is that not true????

Rising PSA
My
PSA
has been undetectable (<0.01) for all that time. This week it was .02 I’m going to redo the test to make sure. Then my urologist wants to refer me to a radiation oncologist. Has anyone had any experience with this. It’s really been hard trying to sort this all out.

My

When to Commence ADT and/or Androgen Blocking Therapy?
The details are provided below but my question is: At what ultra-sensitive (LabCorp)
PSA
level is it advisable to consider commencing ADT and/or androgen blocking therapy such as ERLEADA? Routine screening at age 60 (2017 ) flagged my
PSA
at 4.0.

What remains?
My husband's
PSA
count is 3631. He's had every treatment bar Lutetium and immunotherapy and he doesn't have the BRCA gene. Are we at EOL? He, although emaciated, believes that it's not over yet.

PSA Dropped after 22 days of Zytiga
Today I had a
PSA
test. My
PSA
dropped from 0.8 on November 1 to 0.44 today. I was not expecting such dramatic fall in
PSA
after only 22 days of Abiraterone . I will have another
PSA
test on January 4. Should I expect further fall in
PSA
?

Breathing problem.
Even though 6 months ago I was told I was stage 4 and Gleason 9 the use of Orgovyx and Zytiga have brought my
PSA
from 72 to 0.4, and my numerous cancer hot spots appear under control. My
PSA
continues to go down and I'm without pain.

I like it, but not too much: Phase 2 trial of a DNA vaccine (pTVG-HP) and nivolumab in patients with nmHSPC
"No patients met the primary endpoint of complete
PSA
response; however, 4/19 (21%) patients had a
PSA
decline >50%. Median
PSA
doubling times were 5.9 months pretreatment, 25.6 months on-treatment (p=0.001), and 9.0 months in the subsequent year off-treatment.

Need Help
For the past 6 years my
PSA
has bounced around but mostly under 1.0. In June 2023,
PSA
was .86 but my Primary Physician noticed that it had elevated 3 times .29 to .35 to .86 in 3 years. She said we need to do the next
PSA
at 6 months rather than 1 year.

strange drop in PSA
I've actually never heard of
PSA
being this low except when on ADT or I guess in much younger men. I can't get another test for 3 months. Any ideas out there?

Drug Holidays?
PSA
was 466 in February when I started triplet therapy. Have had a great response with
PSA
now at <.10. Tried docetaxel chemo two weeks ago and lasted 7cc/2mins. Horrible reaction that docs say was not allergic given my vitals and they don't know what it was. I guess <5% have a similar reaction.
