ADVICE PLEASE FOLLOWING LAPRAOSCOPY
Had laparoscopy on the 10th April for diagnosis of endo which they didn't find, my consultant on the day told me to come off my cocodomol which I was taking daily and also to come off my Depo
Provera
as my hormone levels were very low after being on it for 4years.

I spoke too soon - the pain is BACK!!!! And talking of backs.......
Hi all, about a week ago I was 100% sure that my symptoms and pain had improved AFTER stopping the Depo-
Provera
treatment but I now have to say that I was WRONG! It is back again. : ( .

What were your experiences with Depo Provera Injection for endo treatment?
They've suggested the depo
provera
pill for pain management, which I had my first injection of today? I've read really mixed reviews about this mainly weight gain.

Can anyone tell me whether they experience the same severe fatigue and weight loss with Endometriosis?
I am on the Depo-
Provera
shot and am pain free from the endo but I am always so drained and tired. I also have unexplainable weight loss, I'm about 10kg-20kg underweight and I fluctuate a lot.

Mirena Coil vs Depo Provera injection?
Hi ladies, I have unconfirmed endometriosis, not had a lap to actually find it but 4 years ago I had a burst cyst that they thought was appendicitis, so had one then with general surgeons, who unfortunately didn't look for the endo! However, all doctors that I have seen are pretty sure I have it. Anyway

Birth control and antibiotics (not worried about being pregnant, worried about the endo pain and growth).
Will it stop the birth control ( I just started the Depo
Provera
shot) from working properly at keeping the endo at bay if I take antibiotics at the same time? I am rather worried about the pain level coming back or letting the endo grow during that time.

Sudden DEEP Depression and Endo??
History: I was called "possibly infertile" at 17, had my first miscarriage at 18, started depo
provera
once engaged and had a full term pregnancy at 19. I had a 2nd pregnancy right after, babies 17 months apart, also a depo baby.

Provera
I've had a laporoscopy to remove a chocolate cyst and I have now been put on
Provera
to try and eliminate the Endo. I've heard a lot of horror stories about weight gain and hair loss etc as possible side effects.

How long did it take you to return to normal after being on the depo provera injection?
Hi all, I have severe endometriosis and after almost back to back surgeries and after Zoladex was put on the depo
provera
injection. I think all in all I was on it for 18 months or just over.

Hysterectomy.......too extreme??
When he saw the complete look of horror on my face he then said I could try depo
provera
or prostap (that he said can only be given once in a lifetime & I remembered I'd already had!) Nothing else what so ever has been offered. I didn't go for any of the options at the time.

Anyone thought of coming off Depo Provera because of their weight gain?
I have been on Depo
Provera
for 9 months now and have put on about 2 stone in weight and have gone from an 8-10 to 12-14 in clothes! I know this injection fools your body into thinking it's pregnant but my tummy now looks as though it is; by about 5 months! I am so fed up!

Feel like a bit of a fraud on here, but need some help!
The
Provera
didn't help the pain and my consultant wasn't being particularly helpful, and as it was affecting my future career I did some research and found an endometriosis specialist and arranged an appointment.

Dazed and confused! Bit of a long one, sorry!
When I made it absolutely clear I wasn't going to walk away without any other form of advise or assistance I was offered the Depo
Provera
injection as my GP believed my body could do with a rest... brilliant, a sort of solution!

Has anyone tried Bio-identical progesterone to treat their Endo? Any success?
Hi gals, I've been reading up on bio-identical hrt and it seems like a kinder progesterone option for the body than the POP or
provera
- less side effects. Has anybody used this? And if so did it help? x
