Prostap before hysterectomy
I’m booked for my hysterectomy in August. I have had the 2nd prostap injection which should last for about 3 months. I’m having some bleeding and clotting at the moment. I feel so drained and low and fat! I’m not eating more than usual but I’m so bloated. Is this normal? Thanks

Aldehydes and thiamine and Candida
Are aldehydes depleting your b1? An interesting theory: http://www.outthinkingparkinsons.com/articles/dopamine-aldehyde http://drhoustonanderson.com/sensitive-noses-aldehyde-sniff-test/ Candida produces aldehydes, and Candida overgrowth can be caused by steroid injections for hayfever, asthma inhalers

Question for the ladies - TMI post.
I’ve had normal periods all my life but until I gained some weight, suffered from a severe anxiety disorder, and started changing my medications (I am on pristiq 150 mg), my period has become so irregular. I’ve had light brown discharge for about 2 weeks with on and off red blood in light amounts.

Dad having severe SOB after 1 Alimta maintenance infusion
Hi, if anyone has any insight to this I would appreciate it! My dad has SVC syndrome with the mass pressing a bit on his right ventricle of the heart and some narrowing of the bronchus. He has stage IV NSCLC (one mass in upper right lung with some plueral effusion spread as well as spread to both adrenals

Quitting Pristiq....
Has anyone else stop Pristiq?? Its an antidepressant that works great except I cannot handle side effects such as the horrific sweating!!! I stopped the pristiq 5 days ago and still having the sweating but I think it takes at least 2 weeks for withdrawal. Some say it can take years but I'm just going

Hello guys, I just need someone to talk too. I feel like no one understands what I’m going through. I joined this group yesterday and it’s nice to know I’m not the only one. I feel like people know I’ve been diagnosed and I’m on Prostap to make my body go through the menopause so I just need to get

Endo treatment
Hello guys, Just looking for some advice really! After a very long fight of being told it’s all in my head, everything’s ok and I’m only young just see how things go.. I have finally had my laparoscopy a month ago and been diagnosed with endo! They couldn’t burn it off due to it being behind my womb

I'm Jenn :)
Sooooo...I would sincerely appreciate some input. My husband and mother brought up that I may have bipolar last year. I was diagnosed with MDD and GAD prior to this. When I brought it up to my psychiatrist late last year, he indicated that four years ago it was a possible diagnosis. He put me on Lamitcal

Coming to terms with prostate cancer not easy
I am finding it extremely difficult to come to terms with the news that I have prostate cancer. I am nearly 64 and my PSA level was found to be at 6.6 in May 2018. After an MRI scan, and transperineal biopsy on 20 June, my urologist told me my Gleason score was 4+3, stage T2b, with intermediate risk

Need help with Lupron question
As some of you know I’m Gleason 3+4. Will have TURP in August and then 28 sessions of proton therapy starting in November. My close friend was diagnosed 4+3 shortly after. He’s being told by 3 oncologists (IMRT/proton) that it would be best to do 4 months of Lupron plus the radiation. Other testing

Just the beginning
Hi, I’m John, 73 yrs old, G7(3+4), T2a, no mets, PSA 12. Dx Feb 2017, AS since. I’m learning about all of my options while following AS. My PCa is not very aggressive, but I’m not sure what, if any, action would be more beneficial than debilitating. I’m considering Proton Therapy, but holding off as

Prostap - still bleeding
I had my second Prostap injection two weeks ago. I’m still getting pain, fatigue and bleeding. How long will it take for the Prostap to work? Does it not work for some people? What could the next option be if Prostap doesn’t work?

Another one of those days
Depression really sucks! I’ve been on so many meds and now I’m going to try Pristiq. I’ve been on Effexor for a few years. It gave me asthesia. I know I’ve got so many things to be grateful for. I have a loving daughter, her grandparents are such a huge support. Today I took my daughter to the dermatologist
