I had my first (monthly) Prostap injection 2.5 weeks ago. The first week was hell- horrible flare up but the second week I felt so much better- hugs reduction in pain, more energy and for the first time in a long time I felt a bit like myself. But now since Sunday I am suffering with migraines, some stomach pains again, and complete and utter exhaustion. Am hoping it’s just my body adjusting to the Prostap but feeling quite disheartened that after a good week I am now suffering a bit again - has anyone experienced similar? Thanks in advance x

Prostap advice please
Hi Sarah,
I'm on week 3 of Prostap, my pain hasnt gone at all and some days I feel awfully depressed. But at the same time I haven't had any other menopausal symptoms, no hot flushes or trouble sleeping, I've also found my energy to be good, I've changed my diet and feel physically strong, it's just the mental side of it for me.
How long have you been prescribed Prostap? Have you had anything else before this? xx
Hey, yes i seem to have been lucky also not having hot flushes but I do seem to be waking a lot in the night. I’ve been prescribed 4 months initially. I had a lap and helica removal of stage 4 endo at end of jan and at the same time a hysteroscopy to remove a large uterine fibroid and they removed a cyst from my ovary also. I didn’t find the op relieved any of my symptoms for long. I was also on cerazette post op but I didn’t stop bleeding from the op until last week- another plus of the Prostap for me! I think now that the Prostap has worked I may be looking at another lap as clearly it’s either come back already or some was missed. Seems like a never ending cycle of bad news- I just want to feel like myself again! X
Hi I'm on Zoladex implant due second dose Monday, so far just side effects no reduction in pain, I've heard month two should be a big improvement with pain reduction, fingers crossed! Good luck with yours x
